The Islesford Dock Restaurant & Gallery is just that - a restaurant and gallery on a dock on Islesford, Little Cranberry Island, Maine. We have a large greenhouse right out back that produces a good amount of our produce, source our lobsters from the fisherman's co-op just next door, and use Gulf of Maine seafood almost exclusively. The menu is rounded out with naturally raised meats and chicken and the service is casual but professional, warm and inviting. Make sure you get out to Islesford Dock while you're here in the area by taking the Beal & Bunker mail boat that makes multiple trips back and forth every day or take one of the several other tour boats out.

We are closed Mondays throughout the Summer. Starting in September we will be open for dinner service only, and we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Season ends October 1st.

We went for Brunch and though the whole scene at Isleford Dock Restaurant is great fun, the Brunch experience was a disappointment. Food took a long time to come, even though we had the first reservation of the day and it was mediocre when it did arrive. Overall price point was high for what we got…even when taking in to account the location. You should be aware there are no eggs on the brunch menu except for a frittata in a breakfast sandwich….

Food and drinks were very good. We waited almost 20 minutes and finally asked if someone was going to wait on us. Service was better once we got waited on.

We can only go if we have a slip at the dock so we do appreciate that Fin fit us in and also that we had the table we requested, thank you!!!

Ordered the halibut and it was dry. Restrooms are accessed outside the restaurant at the end of the dock. Asked for window seats and the hostess said they were all reserved but after finishing our dinner none of the tables were being used.

IDF was the BEST experience we had on our week long trip at MDI. The journey to and from on the Beal & Bunker Ferry was a beautiful adventure that made the dining experience even better. The food is unbelievably delicous and the wine list complements beyond expectations. Excellent service on the most gorgeous island. We loved the ambience of the bar and restaurant and looking at all of the paintings after our meal. Do not miss this if you are visiting Acadia!!
