   All very good quality and value. Our only gripe is the seating in the bar area isn’t very comfortable or appropriate.

   First time eating here and I was as really impressed with professional attitude of the staff, nothing was to difficult for them. The food menu was varied and covered all ranges. It was cooked and presented brilliantly. I definitely will eat here again.

   A wonderful venue with first class service. This was the first Sunday lunch experience not only for us but the new hotel. We were provided a menu with a two course option or three courses. We went for the two courses and the starters were delicious. We both had roast chicken which was served on a large hot plate with a separate dish of vegetables. The portions were very generous and in fact we struggled to eat all of ours. When we enquired afterwards we could have just ordered the roast without a starter which wasn’t made clear on the menu. Overall a very nice experience.

   Recently spent a couple of nights at the Zeal Exeter and enjoyed two exceptional meals at the Isca Restaurant. Whilst all of the favourites are covered they are given their own special twists and presented with real care and attention to detail. The hotel has only been opened for a few weeks and so the restaurant is still building its reputation. But, if it carries on like this, it should become a go-to place for reasonably priced, quality dining in Exeter.

   Excellent lunch, chef obliged with items from evening menu which was really appreciated. All food was cooked to perfection with very helpful staff in attendance.

   Great last minute Mothers day lunch. The staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty. Thoroughly recommend it. Looking forward to a lovely summer on the terrace

   It took them nearly 2 hours for me to have my first course. The beef was very tender but the 3 of us had the same quantity of vegetables as if we had been 2 people. The cook did not taste his food before serving as the kale was far too salty. The waiters apologied for the delay but my Mother’s Day treat was ruined by this laborious service. They said that they have only been opened for the last 3 weeks. The restaurant was not busy and I don’t understand why they could serve people within a hour. They obviously need some proper treatment how to manage a restaurant.

   Lovely lunch at ISCA with family. Service was attentive and unobtrusive, and the ambience was peaceful. An innovative local menu in a sustainable hotel and restaurant.

   We hadn't heard of Isca restaurant before and decided to pay them a visit as the description of the fresh, local produce menu sounded right up our street. We weren't disappointed. We had a lovely evening. The style of decor makes you feel like you are on holiday. It was a pleasant surprise as we weren't sure what to expect. They had only opened last Thursday. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food menu was compact (a good sign) but had something for everyone and the food was to a high standard. Thank you for an enjoyable meal and evening.
