They really know what they’re doing. We’ve never had a mediocre meal. You can close your eyes and point to an item in their menu and I guarantee you’ll be pleasantly surprised. We are fortunate to have such a place close by.
Consistently good whether eating in or take-out. The cod was literally melt in your mouth and my son loves the papardelle packed with vegetables. The cocktails are out of this world!

I have been here several times and with the current environment I know how difficult things are for ALL restaurants - Ironwood were busy and understaffed but our server was amazing and the food sensational my family highly recommend Ironwood

We ordered the Salmon entree and the Halibut special. Although all the fish was very fresh the Salmon was full of flavor and delicisios. The way the Halibut was prepared was bland. With that being said - this is the only negative thing I've ever encountered. Ironwood always delivers fresh wonderful, flavorful food with excellent service.

We have had the Ironwood experience many times and have had an excellent experience every time. This visit was a little different ad we ordered the bone-in Ribeye Medium Rare and it came out Medium Well. At first you would think this is not good but the waitress followed up with us right when my wife and I had our first bite. She immediately noticed that is was not Medium Rare and picked up our plate apologizing. The ribeye came out as a high priority and perfect the second go round. Waitress remained attentive and manager stopped by as well. They then proceeded to give us a complimentary dessert after the email. Not everyone is perfect but the way you respond to mistakes is. My hats are off to this organization.
I want to begin this by saying that although I had poor service, the tables around me were treated very well.
After hearing my mother sing the praises of the restaurant fire some time, I finally got around to visiting. The plating of the dishes is beautiful. We ordered the Agnolotti and the Meyer Lemon Duck Wings. The Agnolotti was FANTASTIC! The pistachios cooked in the brown butter were out of this world! Highly recommend that dish! The Duck Wings were interesting to me... loved the lemon sauce and the frisée under the wings helped give a nicely dressed crunch, but the meat was overly gamey. I know it’s a risk associated with the protein but it was unexpected. We shared the Giant Meatball as an entree. The itself was INSANELY good!! The meat was the most flavorful blend I’ve had anywhere! However I found myself wanting more tomato flavor or depth out of the sauce. We did get a few rounds of drinks which were surprisingly well made. Definitely explore that part of the menu!
The agnolotti and duck wing appetizers were definite winners. The chicken schnitzel entree can easily be split between two people.
The food, drink and service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Ironwood is mine and my fiancé’s new favorite local restaurant. The food is absolutely incredible and the drinks are delicious. In one week we went to 3 of the 4 locations and we have another reservation for Olea this coming Monday. Highly recommend Ironwood in Laguna Hills, Olea in Costa Mesa and Saphire in Laguna Beach. You will not be disappointed. With the given time due to Covid they are taking great precautions and are still open for take out and dining on the patio.

We love ironwood. The food is amazing the service is always good and it is such a great value for what you get. The butter lettuce salad, hamburger and rib eye are just a few of our families favorites. The fries alone are a reason to visit again.

This is a neighborhood gem!! From the moment we arrived until departure everything was perfect. Martini and craft cocktail was bar none! Appetizers were incredible! Sea Bass and Scallops were perfection. Even with COVID lurking around the experience made us feel removed from these scary times.
Never disappoints! Love their patio dining, especially this time of year. Food, drinks, service were all amazing. Bravo!

Once again, Ironwood impressed us with spot on service, and food. I was very impressed with their handling of the new state guidelines for table spacing and cleanliness. Our party of four had Salmon, Flat Iron steak , and chicken. All food was ample and delicious. The manager, Patrick , and of the staff , did an exceptional job.
We had dinner at Ironwood for the first time on Saturday evening. The hostess was very nice and seated us in a corner booth on the patio. The patio was busy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The menu is pretty limited and a number of items sounded pretty exotic and not the mainstream type of food we prefer. Many of the appetizers did not sound good but we wanted to try something new. We started with a tomato and watermelon appetizer and it was very good. We ordered cocktails and one = tasted off - probably used flat tonic water - so the flavor was not good. The raspberry lemon drop martini looked nice but was so tart we could not drink it. They took care of the drnks for us when they saw that we did not touch them. We ordered some cab wine by the glass and it was good. The wine list was pretty limited and mostly everyday wines, not a lot to choose from. And they were out of Far Niente Chardonnay, the one bottle that looked good to us. The jandori chicken that looked so good on the website was somewhat thin and did not have much flavor. and it was served atop a mound of veggies that made it look unattractive. Just too many veggies for a single serving. We had the salmon which was better but very very salty. It was also served atop another mountain of veggies, which again distracted from the meal. The service was good. But I had to ask for silverware for both of us when our entrees were served . The creme brûlée was very dense and not the creamy, flavorful dessert we've had elsewhere. Last, the bench back on the booth we were seated in was very uncomfortable. It's too upright which makes it impossible to lean back and relax. We had high hopes for Ironwood but don't plan to return based on the limited selection of foods and wine.
It was chilly in the dining room as both front doors were open. The waiters were very good. The actual meal I gave a 4. The Sea Bass and the Halibut were excellent but the Rib-Eye was tough and fatty. The chicken schnitzel was a bit overcooked and somewhat dry. Mixed drinks were innovative and tasteful. I would go back but more than likely would not choose the steak.
The evening was perfect! The took every precausion to make social distancing and our evening perfert.
