   This was our first time to Diana, Irma Southwest. The management and staff and overall service were impeccable. The customer service at this location definitely made everything worth it. Food was delicious. The drinks were great but the service was 10 stars. We will definitely be back again and again! We are already planning our next trip there.

   Astros not in town. Great chance to catch up with a friend. Server was attentive, ambience was excellent, my food was average. Combo 1: enchilada was not hot. Fajita was superb. Shrimp in shrimp taco was great, the soft wrap fell apart after one bite. My friend was happier with his customized order. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing?

   My wife have enjoyed coming to Irma's Southwest for a number of years. Beautiful decor, delicious food and great service. We grabbed a bit here Saturday night before the Opera and really had a great dining experience. We will be coming back sooner rather than later.

   Basically good, but: No beans other than black refried. Non alcoholic drink selection was VERY limited. Margarita that was on an online menu was not on current restaurant menu, but could be made for $39 (excessively pricey). On the chili con queso, would prefer without so much extra stuff added to it. Fajitas were good though. Also, the chipotle salsa was good, but the red salsa tasted more like Italian marinara sauce than Mexican salsa (too much tomato).

   Staff rushed us through the meal, food marginal and small portions with big price. Fastest $200 ever spent on a meal, 30 minutes and they were pushing us out the door. Final insult was we tried to order dessert at 7:30pm on a Saturday night and they were out???

   Irma’s is a Houston gem. The food is authentic Northern Mexican food and is always served hot. The margaritas are very good. A popular downtown restaurant.

    There is no way the food is as good as what it cost to eat there. When you pay $15 for queso, do not think you are getting an order of queso. You are get a very small serving. Possibly a measuring cup if that. The food was ok, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. An order of the #1 combo and an order of shrimp quesadillas and two house margaritas was almost 150.00 Ridiculous. Not to mention, there were two different menus. An Astro's game menu and a scanned menu. Make sure you know which one you're getting because they are happy to take advantage of the Astro fans!

    Ridiculously expensive now. Irmas has lost its charm. 3 drinks and 1 entree over $100. I'm not opposed to spending money on great food but the food is mediocre at best. So many better places to visit and dine in Houston. Not worth the hype! Won't be back.

    Loved our lunch! The owners son came by and gave us some excellent suggestions. The guacamole was so good. My husband had shrimp relleno, it was excellent! We had tres leches for dessert! It was perfect.

    Astros playoff game- they DONT have valet- despite their voicemail saying they do! Since that is why we booked it- caused a big problem . Crowded and loud but it’s game day and they only have a game day menu, which was not good and expensive. Not going to do that again.

    We enjoyed our dinner at Irma’s Southwest. We will visit again. The margaritas are very good. It is a lovely restaurant. The only negative was we felt we were being rushed. When we asked about it we were told they did want to turn the tables as quick as possible. That was a bummer. We had a reservation and wanted to relax ,have a few cocktails and have dinner.

    We have eaten at Irma's SW over 20 times and also purchase gift cards for friends before going to the ballgame. Yesterday was our last time . If one is lucky enough you can park in front or the garage if any spaces are open. Yesterday , when we arrived there was one SUV parked in front and 5 empty spaces blocked by Cones. I got out of our truck and asked the owner, Mr Galvan , if we could park since we did have reservations and he told me that this night "there is no parking thing today ". We then found a lot , parked and headed to the restaurant where we had reservations. When we got to the restaurant, I saw that now all the parking spaces were occupied and the cones were gone After dinner I asked the inside manager , who normally directs us with parking, how come we could not park outside today? He pointed outside to Mr Galvan and said " it is his thing today " . We left and I approached Mr Galvan, and told him that I was disappointed that we were not told the truth about his parking policy that night . He then said " that parking this night is for VIP only " . When I told him that we will come back to eat there anymore . His response was "DON'T". May the TABC and Harris County health dept have mercy on you !

    Celebrated a friend’s birthday before going to the Astros game! Food was delicious. I wasn’t happy about the $10 split plate charge. I’ve NEVER seen it that high. Also not happy about the one check per table. We were a group of 4 ladies & I like to control what I spend on eating & ended up splitting the ticket four ways which left me holding the short end of the stick. The location is great to the stadium! The service was excellent. Just not happy about the split plate charge & one ticket per table.

    Irma's was awesome....as always. The most delicious and convenient place to eat on game day! The food, drinks, and service are great, a quick in and out OR you can stay a while. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. Love the El Hefe margarita.
