    Waitress and food were excellent for all of our gang of 8. Music was a little to loud which had everyone in the restaurant having to talk too loud over the music.

    We had a lovely Labour Day lunch for 4 on the lake-side patio. The music was a bit loud but we had a wonderful time. It felt like we were on a holiday. The menu selection was very good as was the food. I would highly recommend. The inside looked very nice as well and the bathroom was clean and well appointed.Very friendly staff.

    I was hoping it would be much better….such a fantastic location but just mediocre food at best! Server was also not very attentive. Too bad as I love the waterfront view sitting there!

    Irene has a large patio right next to the lake with some trees and umbrellas for shade. The Bay bus #19 comes from the subway and turns onto Queen's Quay to stop right near the restaurant. The menu has some different offerings as well as traditional dishes - good sharing items. The service is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend it!

    We were really disappointed with the slow and uncoordinated service at Irene, there we’re definitely enough servers but they didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The food was good, but not outstanding. Hoping this restaurant ups it’s game.

    Service was awful and waits were crazy, no one seemed to care, staff was slow and unresponsive. The place wasn’t busy to allow for these waits. Best thing they had was the oysters. Steak was over cooked. Took 20 mins to be recieved. and another 20 to get my bottle of water Asked for a cocktail they brought the bottle of wine 1st.

    Very slow service even when patio only 30% full. Music too loud to have room level conversation. Food OK, but overpriced ($10 for a scoop of gelato). Food allergies not accommodated well - no one in kitchen knew whether there was cross contamination or when fryers had been cleaned last. Would not return.

    Setting on the patio was excellent as was the service. In general the food was very good. My jerk fish tacos could have used a bit more “jerk” as it seemed too mild.

    Great location! There was a party on the patio so they seemed to get a lot of attention. The steak and frites was not a good value. Cold fries in a bowl and an average steak. Server did not give a steak knife. Had to wait over 5 minutes to see if we needed anything. No ketchup offered for the fries. Poke bowl was yummy. The banquet burger was tasty but the Caesar salad was very dry. Asked for another item- server forgot. Tipping option on machine starts at 18% . Customer can’t manually adjust percentage have to ask server. Just seems very similar to against the grain. Cake and gelato was excellent. No baked Alaska although we saw it being delivered to others. Guess we missed it.

    A great setting by the water. Staffa re skilled and attentive. The food was very good. As everywhere now the drinks were very expensive, food prices were moderate to high. All in all a great place to gather.

    Nice place with good view of the lake. The menu has lots of options including vegetarian and gluten free. We enjoyed what we had and the servings were good size. Staff were excellent.

    Food and service met all expectations, good quality and attentive staff. Roomy patio by lake, but view partially obscured by trees. Noise of aircraft take offs from Centre Island and volume of music distracted at times. Washroom should be better monitored for patrons only, as was being used by loitering homeless on my visit. Parking convenient at Green P or Indigo, with Sugar Beach next door.

    You can't beat this patio and the service. Wine list is small but quality. The food needs better seasoning, it's fresh and beautifully prepared but a little bland. The steak tatare and shushito peppers were the best of all the dishes we tried. I will definitely be back.

    I went with my family to celebrate my son’s birthday. The waiters were all very kind and attentive, and they made sure we were having a good time. We loved the ambiance. We loved the duck and the salmon poke bowl, so tasty and presentation was amazing, Overall a very good experience.
