A relaxed and informal restaurant in London’s definitive contemporary hotel One Aldwych, Indigo offers a creative and ever changing British menu, which is largely gluten and dairy-free.

Crafted by Executive Chef Dominic Teague, the menu showcases inventive dishes focusing on seasonal ingredients, carefully sourced from the British Isles. All food is beautifully prepared and lunch and dinner are entirely gluten and dairy-free, without compromising on quality ingredients or taste. From quinoa, Jerusalem artichoke, pomegranate and smoked almonds salad, in-house baked samphire bread and Rhug Estate Lamb, these are dishes that stand up on their own.

We came here as it’s our favourite gluten free restaurant in London! So amazing! Food was beautiful and we got a lovely gluten free brownie for free as it was my 40th birthday and 15th wedding anniversary! So perfect!

The food at Indigo is very good but the thing that really makes it stand out is the excellence of the service. The staff are all lovely people, they give you a warm welcome and look after you brilliantly. I suspect one is seeing the results of good management-staff relations.

My wife has Coeliac disease, and is incredibly sensitive to cross-contamination, and being here knowing the menu was entirely gluten free and dairy free was a breath of fresh air, she could finally relax (not so easy in most restaurants, understandably). I can personally eat anything, and this place was incredible - food amazing, the seaweed butter better than real butter and just a great find! You will not be disappointed - we will be back!

Lovely meal, but I felt slightly underwhelmed, as I had such high expectations based on their website, the menu, and, of course, the price bracket. Service was attentive at the beginning, slow at the end, and, whilst the waiters were informative, it felt scripted and impersonal. Food was tasty, but I wanted exceptional. We had the tasting menu. Outstanding dishes were the lamb, monkfish and chocolate cheesecake. The pasty was nice; the poached egg under-seasoned and I make better scones at home. I know taste is highly subjective but the petits fours were not pleasant at all. Ambience was good, lovely decor, and the gift of honeycomb to take home was a lovely touch.
