Genuine Italian flavors fill an airy, modern space accented by lime-wash, white brick, blonde butcher block and silver lighting pendants. An antique pizza peel dating to the 1850s hangs on the wall, portraying Indaco’s dedication to authenticity. The restaurant boasts a craft cocktail program featuring Italian classics such as the Negroni and amaro on tap and housemade Italian sodas. This concept introduces traditional Italian eating to Upper King’s booming, fine-dining scene. A 2,900 square foot restaurant, Indaco offers 100 seats inclusive of the bar and patio.

Indaco Ratings and Reviews
Seated immediately at a nice spot by window; server was excellent. Food was okay but not outstanding by any means. I can get better Italian food on Johns Island. Steak tartare presentation was weird-I was expecting classic presentation so it was disappointing, could not taste the meat because of the ingredients it was drowned in. Almond budino was horribly sweet. Despite a lovely server, I would not go back.
It was a truly spectacular experience for me and my girlfriend. The only hiccup through our whole experience was when we arrived they didn't appear to have our Open Table reservation in their system. Once all that was sorted out, we couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff was top notch, the food was delectable, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thanks to everyone at Indaco!
Have enjoyed Indaco many times but do not recommend it for Restaurant Week. We waited over 35 minutes for our reservation after the hostess told us our table would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Clearly they had overbooked. Was also disappointed in the steak tartare, which I've had many times other places. Didn't have much taste and the bread wasn't toasted much , so it came off as a soggy open faced sandwich appetizer. Very disappointing.
Have been several times for various occasions-date night, girls' dinner, friend's birthday. Perfect restaurant for all occasions. Food is amazing and priced fairly. Decent wine list and cocktails. Plenty of options for vegetarians, as well! Do be sure to make a reservation.
It was my first time there and from the moment we stepped foot in the establishment to the minute we left we were taken amazing care of. Trevor knew the menu really well and broke it down to us to make our decision easier, it allowed us to not even think about it and have an amazing night. Our drinks tasted amazing and not overbearingly mixed. I would whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing experience. Thank y’all!
Indaco was absolutely INcredible!!!
What an amazing evening my wife and I had. We dined here for a special occasion and the staff truly made us feel at home. The host team welcomed us with a congratulation, which my wife wasn't expecting (this was a surprise) followed by a glass of champagne to congratulate us on the special occasion AND our even some of the service staff came over to congratulate us. Everything about our evening was incredible- the food, the wine, the desserts- ALL OF IT!
If you want to dine at a place where you truly feel like you are with "family" Indaco is a MUST-VISIT!
Five of us went to Indaco to celebrate my son's birthday. We loved the authentic Italian cuisine and and the wood-oven pizza. The menu was rather sparse, though. There were no salad or soup offerings, for example. The seating at a high table with bar stools was rather uncomfortable, especially since two of the men had leg problems. I would recommend that others who prefer standard-height tables request them when they make their reservations. The service was disappointing -- we were brought one plate with four pieces of bread and one dish of olive oil and it was put down at the far side of the table (mind you, there were FIVE of us). When the food came out, four orders were placed but one pizza was missing. After waiting five minutes to see if it were coming, we flagged down our server to ask about it and it appeared a minute later. Our water glasses weren't refilled until dinner was almost over. And unlike many other restaurants in Charleston that recognize the birthday diner in some way, Indaco did nothing special. We would go back for the food alone.
Were in town for the afternoon, so we went early, 5:30 on Sunday. Service was attentive and informative. Because the crowd was still small, the noise level was low. Wine selection was very good and the pour was generous. We had crostini and sausage pizza. Yum yum. I don’t know why it has been so long between visits. If the noise level has kept you away, just go early, but go. We had a lovely evening.
