Blackpool has so many fantastic places to eat, but our delightful Palm Court restaurant is the place for a sumptuous, relaxing dinner. The Victorian dining room is full of grandeur and our restaurant team always go that little bit further to make serving a meal a magical experience.

The views in the restaurant are spectacular, with sweeping vistas across the Fylde coast and the occasional heritage tram tootling by. Diners can soak in the scenery while enjoying fine dining from the table d’hôte menu that changes quarterly, according to the seasons.

We also have a range of daily specials, with our chefs using locally sourced produce whenever possible to ensure that only the best and freshest ingredients are used. The restaurant has flexible seating arrangements, so we can cater for large parties and children are also well catered for, thanks to the family dining options.

At The Imperial, you aren’t just offered a pot of tea and a bit of cake; the experience is composed of many delicious elements (both savoury and sweet!) that you’ll love. Not to mention the professional and attentive service from our talented team. You’ll be served a small cup of soup and a hearty sausage roll in addition to sandwiches, scones and cake. The sandwiches are delicate and tasty on soft bread. There’s nothing “usual” about the sweet treats, either! There’s an array of bite-sized delights which have been lovingly prepared to really showcase the talents of our pastry chef and to really tantalise the palette. We have a wide range of enjoyable teas, but if you want a little more drama in your afternoon tea, we can add some fizz!

I am a Professional within the Law Profession. A British Citizen who has Travelled Worldwide to many interesting places. In June 2025 i stayed at the Imperial Hotel. BlackPool. FV1 2HB. United Kingdom. I asked a Reception desk Manager/ess. To Reserve a Dining Table in the Palm Court Restaurant one evening. When i arrived to Dine. The Restaurant Staff could not find my Name. I had to repeat that i had spoken to a Manageress called Amanda who said she had placed the Reservation. I Reserved a Table for Afternoon Tea using the OpenTable Booking website. When i arrived for Tea. The Restaurant Staff could not find my Name. They said the Hotel Office Staff should have sent the Booking to them. Incompetence and Lack of Professional Conduct by some Managers/esses and some of the Hotel Staff. They are GasLighters. Meaning they cover-up appalling Staff behaviour. They Pretend. The Imperial Hotel. In BlackPool. FV1 2HB. United Kingdom. This Building has Historical British Heritage. But it is let down by some Unprofessional Nasty with Discrimination tones. Management and Staff. If Tourists want to appreciate British Art and History and a decent Service. I advise them to visit London Museums and Art Galleries. Also stay in other reputable 5 Star London Hotels.

Menu rather limited particularly if staying more than one night in the hotel. Pork dish , meat was tough. Service by young staff was pleasant and prompt.

Very disappointing. We arrived on time but We were left waiting in a corridor and when we were let in the room we had to stand and wait for our table for ten minutes whilst the waiters showed two other groups of two their table and fully explained the afternoon tea, which wasn’t needed. The waiter was scruffy and his clothes were dirty. Our food took a further 40 minutes to arrive with no explanation or apology. The food was fine.

We had a fabulous afternoon tea - hotel is lovely, service was spot on and the food was fantastic! One of the best afternoon teas we have had and such great value at £20 The staff were great with wheelchair access and a lovely window table with a sea view. Would recommend a visit.

Excellent afternoon tea with both savoury and sweet treats. Very attentive staff and the room was lovely overlooking the sea. Great value for money and will definitely come back again

The food was poor. I ordered grilled chicken and chips. Chicken was nice but the chips were to few. My partner had Lamb Shoulder which was horrible. It was like a formed meat ball. There was no gravy with it. We definitely wouldn't recommend your restaurant.
