   The imperial arms never fails to deliver. The Sunday lunch is always excellent as is the food during the week. The staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming. We've been as a large group and as a family of four and the service never falters. The Lewis family

   Would highly recommend, 6 of us ate handsomely for under £25 a head including drinks. Most of us had three courses with generous portion sizes. Excellent value 'surf and turf' comprising juicy steak and lobster, fries, & salad garnish. Very friendly welcome and attentive service. Cosy pub atmosphere would also suit couples. Will definitely be returning for Sunday roast and summer outdoor eating. We went following the Easter weekend as a last minute booking when it was much quieter but still convivial atmosphere.

   Having read all the reviews raving about this pub I expected more....but was quite disappointed. The staff are really friendly and very helpful; but the food is quite average. 3 of us had the Turf and Surf....the lobster had hardly any meat and the steak was thin and grisly. The pub is old and looks like it has not been decorated for years.....alright if you like an old fashioned pub, but not what I expected in Chislehurst.

   We all had a roast and they were great. One of the party had the goats cheese nut roast which he highly rated. My boyfriend thought it was the best pub roast he's ever had.

   Met a few friends for Sunday lunch last weekend. We all had the pork belly roast. Everyone agreed that it was the best pork belly they had eaten in a while. The meat was very tender and the crackling crispy. We stayed on afterwards to listen to the live music which was a Brat pack act. All in all great afternoon. Would definitely go back.

   The Imperial Arms has a fantastic history, amazing wallpaper with monkeys and pomegranates and is a perfect spot for Sunday lunch. Tasty vegetarian option and they kindly accommodate three children under five too.

   First time we have ever been to this pub and we sat downstairs in the wine bar. What a little gem we found. Friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food what more could you possibly ask for. Can see why it is so highly rated. Keep it up you are all doing a great job.

   Food was good for a small local pub would go back but check what events are on as it was quiz night on a Weds.

   Probably didn't choose the best night to go for dinner as the seating area is in the main pub area and it was a packed & noisy Saturday night. Food was excellent value though, and would suggest a visit for Sunday lunch.

    We had Sunday lunch here and it was excellent.Food was hot and fresh.Staff were very attentive and the service excellent too.Nice overall atmosphere in the pub .The best Sunday lunch in Chislehurst and would definately recommend it.
