Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Our party of three all really enjoyed the food. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. The restaurant was busy on our visit, early on a Wednesday evening. We will certainly return.

I think these dishes are overpriced and poor value. To pay £20 for 4 beef kebabs over a few broccoli spears without any rice is a bit stingy! In addition, our plates were cold so the food that was only lukewarm cooled very quickly The food itself was average but no more. The place is certainly overrated and overpriced… I would advise patrons to avoid going

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise. I was expecting a decent Middle Eastern restaurant with a couple of interesting dishes for lunch. It far exceeded those expectations. Everything our party of 3 ordered was extremely tasty and well-prepared. My son typically tolerates Middle Eastern food because my wife and I like it. Even her loved what he ate. We can't wait to go back for dinner.

On an early Friday evening we were delighted by the food and ease of getting a table when we came earlier than our reservation time. This is a fun place! Falafel was best we’ve ever had. But noise level can be off putting as after-work folks unwind.

Always delicious food. Beautiful surroundings. It was a hot day and having all the windows open onto the balcony was lovely. Attentive service. Good value for great food
