Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

    Great food and friendly service but too fast. Had all of our food within 10-15 mins of being seated. Good for a quick lunch. Not so good for a relaxing dinner.

    Delicious lunch in beautiful surroundings - a welcome respite from the busy streets on a sunny Saturday! Food was great, excellent for sharing. The amarah chicken was a particular highlight. Staff were helpful and attentive, giving good advice on how many dishes to order as it was our first visit (I'm sure it won't be our last!)

    This was our third visit to Imad’s, but our first in the new premises. As before it was very good. The food is excellent and the service was very good too. Thoroughly recommend.

    Our party of three all really enjoyed the food. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. The restaurant was busy on our visit, early on a Wednesday evening. We will certainly return.
