   As always, the food and service at il Sugo were excellent. The restaurant is in need of a facelift but they are still serving the best Italian we’ve had in Boise despite this.

   The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had and I also very much liked the vegetarian sauce with the gluten-free penne pasta.

   Food is most important, and mine was great. The ambience could be better, especially on a hot muggy day. Table surfaces seemed sticky. Service was good.

   Really excellent pasta dinner. There was only one service person but he did a great job. Fun place and food has always been good.

   This was our first time at il Sugo, the food and service was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable.

   Food was tasty and good portions. Server was attentive, helpful and efficient. Complimentary dessert for birthday was much appreciated.

   Our first time dining here, our waitress was fantastic, I think she was handling the whole restaurant so kudo to her and always with a smile. I started with the beet salad definitely could have used the blue cheese, think they forgot to put it on. I had one of the specials of the night Risotto with fried shrimp we will definitely go back but the next time I’ll stick to the pasta.
