   It took almost 90 minutes to get our food. And the restaurant was not crowded.

   Had reservation for 7:45pm. We had Bocce bread which was good with our drinks approx. around 8pm. We also ordered our food at the same time. Didn’t get a second drink or checked on until 8:30pm. Gave them benefit of the doubt cause it was Valentines Day so we stuck around. 9:15pm still no food nor checked on with an update. Paid $40 bucks for two beers and two sangrias then left starving and ate at a diner. This is the first time I’ve ever wrote a review. If I’m getting into food arguments on Valentines Day, you can’t blame me for putting it a bad review. Do not mess with a hungry baber....ever. Not a good combo. Might not happen often here but it was a rough experience.

   My fiancé and I decided to give this restaurant a try on Valentine’s Day. We sat down immediately and was given our drinks and bread. Our reservation was at 7:30pm. By 7:40 we placed our order. After sitting there for awhile we never received any food. I asked to speak with a manager and within a few minutes. Our appetizer was brought to our table. It took an hour for the appetizer ( fried calamari ). As we looked around at the other 6/7 tables everyone seemed extremely disgruntled. By 9 pm still no entree. We decided to ask for the check. Paid for two drinks and an app and left. Needless to say, I don’t think we will be returning.

   Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Appetizers and entrees came out at a good pace. Nice and lively atmosphere

   A touch of modern but a whole lot of classic Italian, even bocce. We were greeted and seated immediately. Bar music, dance mix, was a little loud but didn’t impede our conversation and nice being to watch the the Yankee game. We shared the burrata app special, delish but would have been better served room temp, was too cool so not as creamy and the only item we thought overpriced ($20). They served their signature bocce bread (puffed pita like) with fresh ricotta/olive oil/red pepper spread and that was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my linguine with clams, sooo many clams, great garlic flavor. My wife had the octopus with squid ink pasta but I thought it was slightly bland but the octopus was cooked perfectly. Pastas were all served al dente which is my preference. Michael the owner/chef chatted with us and even offered a drink at the bar. We both went home with leftovers and look forward to visiting again.

    Good food, nice atmosphere. And we got to play a few games of Bocci to work off some of the good food. Would highly recommend.
