    First time here and was not disappointed me and my wife really liked it definitely coming back The food was was absolutely delicious from the calamari appetizer to our salads and our entrees of course a glass of delicious Italian wine and finished off with coffee and gelato

    We were first given our vodka pasta without the sausage when we requested it, then to be told that they forgot and was charged $14 extra for a piece of sausage. We also asked for the house Chardonnay to be charged for the most expensive glass of Chardonnay. We go here all of the time but I have to admit that this was one of the worst experience.

    We love the Irvine Il Fornaio location. It is a beautiful and calming restaurant. The service is always excellent. Hugo took fantastic care of us! We shared the Parma, buratta and arugula salad that was so delicious, and we both had the special short rib ravioli with mushrooms. Wow! We shared the caramel sea salt gelato for dessert. You can't have a better meal!

    The food was good, service was good as well. Beautiful restaurant. We’ve been eating at IF for over 20 years, always good. We will be back as usual.
