    Service was very good. Wine selection was substantial. Food was delicious and comparable to my experiences in Italy. Overall, would definitely recommend and will be returning.

    Use to be one of our favorite places for quality food and dining. However, the service and the quality of the food have declined so poorly. We had to ask so many times for water, or even items we ordered. Recipes have changed and they are just not as good. No longer recommend it.

    We love going to Il Fornaio. It’s a beautiful place with a friendly and welcoming staff. The food is always delicious. My husband loves their chiopino and my favorite is the lasagna.

    We had reservations for 9 people and it was an engagement celebration. The table was right at the entrance so there was a lot of extra noise and distraction. We ordered several appetizers, carpaccio, burrata, roasted cauliflower, meatballs, smoked cheese, Brussel sprouts, and the fresh baked bread, all were delicious and we had to order another Burrata because it was so good! I had the seafood plate and all items were cooked perfectly shrimp, scallops, salmon, sea bass, along with broccolini, and potatoes. All the pasta dishes were incredible. I have to say three of the steak dishes all ribeye were so tough that the steak knife they gave us wouldn’t cut through - we sent two back and they replaced them with the filet mignon which was better. The service was good although our waiter only came to the table for ordering and delivering food. I had to find help a couple times to request items for the table. It was very busy and they did have a big class reunion party in the patio, so that may have impacted the efficiency of the kitchen. Overall we have been there before and it was excellent. Overall this is why I have them 4 stars, because our prior experience was 5 stars!

    Pasta and food were so good but the service was not good. We found that the minestrone soup $10 was added to our receipts after paying. We didn’t order it and it was not served. (We should check before paying.) And we asked about the ingredients of bread pudding because my son wanted to eat it but he’s allergic to peanuts. He said pecan was contained for pudding, so we ordered Cherry gelato instead of it. But both of them were served. We thought he misunderstood that we said. So we didn’t say anything about this. We know he is nice, but we’re disappointed that some mistakes happened this time. It was our 20th wedding anniversary. But dishes were delicious, especially pasta and pizza.

    Food was absolutely amazing. They need to change their water. It tastes like gas. But the pasta was delicious and my favorite.

    I love the atmosphere and I’ve never been disappointed with the food. Great choices. The staff was friendly and our waitress was exceptional.
