Il Cudega brings together founders Luca and Giovanni’s passions for Lombardy, Italy and the East End of London.
Coming to London for the first time will be the food and wine, carefully sourced and of the highest quality, from Lombardy- the area around Milan. The menu focuses on traditional dishes such as Cotoletta Alla Milanese, Vitello Tonnato and Risotto alla Milanese.
Il Cudega is based in Fount London courtyard and benefits from a spacious outside area (daytime only).

Delicious food served by friendly and efficient staff. Excellent wine also. If you're looking for a traditional trattoria/pizzeria type of experience this is not for you - these are Lombardian specialists and the menu reflects that. The place also does deli counter service and deeply regret not taking home some of their exemplary charcuterie.

Terrible! It's lit like a super market. The menu is miniscule. The staff all wish they were somewhere else.

Fine and very well cocked food, characteristic from the North of Italy, which makes it particularly interesting. Great wine list, deli products and nice staff as well. Portions are small though, and unfortunately I found it a bit overpriced. Would go back there if it was 10-15% less expensive (or maybe just get rid of the 12.5% service charge and you'll be just fine).

Had a great time Myself and my partner enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend and will be visiting again.

Started the meal with the goat's cheese board and charcuterie - both of which were so good we bought more to take home; then had starters (wish I didn't have to share my risotto which was even better than risottos I've eaten in Italy) and mains. My guinea fowl was perfectly done, can't fault it. The wine we wanted wasn't available and got recommended an alternative (which was £8 more a bottle) Total bill was £142 per couple (not including the takeout food), so not a budget experience, but for the quality of the food definitely worth a visit. Would probably just eat two plates of risotto next time, it's that good...

True North Italy food. Amazing wine and a very nuce place. Very quiet atmosphere, ideal for couples. Menu does not have much variety though.
