   My husband and I enjoyed our first experience at I.d. last night, along with his sister and her husband, long-time fans of the restaurant that offers an exquisite menu to match its elegant and inviting decor. Our server, Kim, was cheerful, welcoming, and attentive, and helped us make a few decisions since there were so many exceptional options. My husband and I ordered a bottle of Textbook Merlot, and my sister-in-law went with an n/a version of their Walk in the Garden cocktail upon Kim's recommendation. Both were the perfect accompaniments to our meal, which included the warm whipped feta appetizer, grilled octopus and Early Harvest salads, pork empanadas, scallops, Korean BBQ lettuce wraps, and the tri-tip flatbread. My SIL is gluten-free and except for the empanadas and flatbread, she was able eat everything else (she was even given GF crackers in addition to the pita that came with the whipped feta). The standouts for me were the feta, empanadas, and scallops. The octopus, while tasty, was a little cooler than my liking (but it was in a salad, so I should've expected that), and the flatbread was a bit salty for my taste (but I hardly salt anything, so that's not a surprise either), but nothing was left at the end of the meal because as a group we found it all to be delicious. Overall, our first visit was an excellent experience, and it certainly won't be our last!

   Food was great. Only issue was food came out to fast. I like to order as I go as it is small plates . But are waiter said we had to put all order in then chef decided when to send out.

   Best meal I've had in years. Went with a best friend and her husband and we shared at least 9 different dishes. All were spectacular. I'll be dreaming of this restaurant for months and will be looking forward to another visit the next time I'm in the area. Duck noodles, fire chicken pizza, octopus, scallops, whipped feta, fish tacos, pizza bianca, burger, harvest salad, strawberry shortcake, rhubarb custard tart.......the stuff dreams are made of!!! On a scale of 1-10, I.D is off the charts fabulous!!!

   Ultimately we had a nice evening at ID. The food was wonderful and table service was very good. Did not receive the same from others. We walked in at 6:20 to check in for a 6:30 reservation. Another Couple arrived just before us and asked for a table without a reservation. We were told by the hostess that she would call us at 6:30. The other couple was seated about 5 mins later, before our 6:30 reservation. We sat at the bar and had cocktails. At 6:35 the hostess came over told us to settle our bar bill and let her know. Now, I understand 5 mins is not a huge amount of time. The issue I have is two fold. 1) Why wouldn't you prioritize a reservation prior to a walk in? Do you have a policy to not seat reservations prior to stated time? Obviously there were tables ready. 2) Ability to move the ticket from the bar to a restaurant, is a common practice, rather than having to take the additional time to close out. Second issue was with the bartender. Have sent a private note with the observation.

    Amazing staff! Food flavors and freshness were sensational, food served hot and plated pleasingly! Unique, changing menu. Great ambiance whether out as a couple or a group.
