   The decor is gorgeous, but this place is not worth the afternoon tea cost. Almost all the food except maybe one or two dishes can be found at a normal dim sum restaurant for wayyyy less the price and just as delicious (or more, though that's subjective). Maybe it was a reservation issue, but the pastries could only be divided into two at best, so having four at the table wasn't ideal. They weren't anything particularly interesting either tbh (Madeleines, scones, some other tid bits). It's also pretty difficult to flag down a waiter (I literally just needed them to refill the hot water for the tea). The tea was fine, the cocktails were fine. Just not worth the absorbitent price. So overall, it was fun to sorta dress up in a glitzy restaurant, but I'd highly recommend going to an actual dim sum restaurant to save your money or go to an actual high tea location.

   Strange service. Asked me 4 days before our lunch to tell them names of birthday people. I replied and they replied thank you. So I was expecting something. Waiter who actually was the bartender was nice and said usually they print something. Lol. Hostess was struggling with her job duties. Bartender was dressed in butcher clothing. Food was tasty but menu has very few, extremely few, options for vegetarians. Then we ordered two desserts and waited forever. Bartender, our waiter, got busy and I think forgot to put order in. So we found another waiter to get us our bill and make sure no desserts were on it. The decor is gorgeous but the service needs to step up to match that and its high prices. The food was tasty. Drinks were good too but there are staffing issues. Would I return? Probably not.

    I had booked the high tea experience for a friend’s birthday, added that in the special event information. The restaurant even asked for the birthday person’s name. The server asked us whose birthday it is but did not bring any birthday candle or even a tiny dessert to celebrate the birthday. The dessert tower is average, nothing spectacular. The ambience is nice, but the service level is not at the level one should expect from this class of restaurant.

    Place was pretty empty for a Sunday night. Prices too high, portions too small. Food quality and taste was good, but unclear how they make it given the footprint, rent and the competition in the area. They will need to adjust pricing to make it other than an expense account destination.

    This was my second time with the tea set and it was a great experience! My group was running late due to traffic and I did call ahead to let them know about the tardiness. They were very accommodating. My group also had a toddler and it wasn’t a problem with her there. Food was good but I forgot how small the portion sizes were. We don’t have a big appetite so it was actually enough for three adults and a toddler. We shared one tea set, a stir fry noodle, har gau and a meat pastry. We had a bowl of white rice for the toddler because that’s her current jam. I’d recommend this to everyone to try and I’d come back again.

    Food was ok but not worth the price. We ordered steam dim sum platter, crispy duck salad, crab and corn soup, Thai spicy sea bass, chicken clay pot, beef peppercorn, lotus and asparagus, hand pulled noodle and salted fish fried rice. Dishes were small. Ichina is supposed to be a Chinese restaurant so why are there Thai dishes on the menu? Lotus and asparagus dish was so bland. Fancy Chinese restaurants generally don’t have good Chinese food.

    Came for the Tea Experience. Was looking forward to the claimed: “a host will introduce you to the seven principles of tea ceremonies and share proper brewing techniques, nuanced tasting notes, and traditional etiquette.” The experience was negative. Service was extremely slow and it wasn’t busy when we arrived. The host did not explain anything about the tea ceremony traditions, techniques, etiquette. She dropped off menus and a server eventually came by and reminded us that our reservation was for the “Tea experience” and we were obligated to select from only the Tea Time menú. No one explained what the experience was supposed to entail, nor did they explain the menu . Dim sum not traditional but tasty and over priced. Tea was good but not special. You can go to a real tea house for a true tea experience. I wouldn’t recommend this “experience “ at all.

    Andres was our server, and he was as present and helpful without being a constant presence. The food was as from the Valentines menu and was beautifully plated, paired, and matched for us to have an amazing experience of flavor and texture.

    Loved the atmosphere and the food. It was as an amazing dinner perfect for celebrating a special occasion. My partner and I had the set $138 menu and some cocktails and it was so filling and delicious. My favorite dish by far was the duck salad. The staff were also friendly and helpful. My only feedback was I wasn’t a huge fan of the music (was almost like club music) but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of everything else!

    This is my third time coming back to iChina, I wouldn't return if I didn't like the restaurant. I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant when coming with my friends and family. I've had their lunch, and dinner before, however this is my first time trying their starter . The dim sum was really disappointing, the Pallet garden is also considered a high end Canton restaurant and their quality is much better. I wouldn't order this again in the future The mapo Tofu was good, but the sauce this time seems to be a bit over salty (the previous time I had it was good) The truffle scallops fried rice is great. Our waitress unfortunately was polite however seems to have kept forgetting our request for bowls and vinegar and my friend and I had to request a few times to see what was going on. The answer was either they were sent to the wrong table or she said the order was sent but no response. Overall I wrote this just to hope the restaurant will improve. I wish the best for the business.

    We had the best time at iChina for Dim Sum & high tea! The Har Gow with the spicy chili sauce was by far our favorite. We also ordered the Crispy Dim Sum collection (crispy wagyu puff, omg), & the Signature tea tower. Everything was delicious, and the Dragon Pearl tea was amazing! Definitely plan to come back!

    Extremely underwhelmed. I had heard such great things when the restaurant opened and was surprised by the poor experience. The food was incredibly overpriced. The entre serving sizes were too small even for two people. For the price, I would have expected the food to be amazing. It was average at best.

    Gorgeous, top of the line restaurant. Impeccable service, knowledgable, friendly and above standard. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The portions were just right. The creme brûlée dessert was the perfect ending to a memorable meal.

    Loved our iChina afternoon tea experience. The tiered tray is a dessert tray and does not hold any entree or savory options. We added on dim sum and a rice plate for sustenance. It is pricey to eat here so it will probably be a special occasion only place for me but I love the vibe so will probably be here again soon.

    The food was delicious. Our server Christian was amazing. Super friendly, professional and helpful with the menu. The bartenders special drink, Ari, was on point. Would definitely come back for a fancy occasion. The $$$$ on yelp is not lying. But you do get what you pay for.

Some of the dishes like the dim sum stood out however the rest of the set menu items where just ok, I was expecting a wow factor but their dishes fell short a bit

    Ambiance is excellent. Food quality and presentation is very good. Drink service was extremely slow. We ordered 5 Lychee martinis and it took so long for it to be delivered. It took almost 30 min. Food came fast.

    Wow - such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere and place settings alone are something to experience. The food is delicious, and the smaller-sized dumplings were much better bite-sized compared to typical dim sum restaurants. The cocktails were also a work of art. While it is an expensive outing, it is worth it. I plan to visit again.
