This had the potential to be so great. Ice skating was fun, and the cabins were super cute. Service was good. But considering how much we paid ($400 for the table + $35/person to skate), it was simply not worth it. We were also probably the only cabin there on a Friday night—no other people. Service was good, but the guy seemed annoyed when we asked to split the check, even though we had already done the math for him, listed it on the check, and stacked our cards in order.

We had a great time. The rink was really nice and the skates were of good quality. Our little winter cabana was adorable and cozy. Our server Owen was excellent and attended to all of our needs. He even found a few NA beck's for me when it looked like they didn't have any. Most importantly upbeat, sweet and attentive. I had some difficulties with the initial skate tickets that were frustrating but the overall experience was worth it and we had a great time.

Pretty poorly run, out of Hot chocolate and smores (why we went) before we even got there. Service was infrequent.

This is the first year for the ice rodeo. Overall, we were quite satisfied however, I just wish they played Christmas music also.

Wonderful event... looking forward to next year... service was exceptional. Would have liked a couple more substantive food choices. S'more graham crackers were crumbly, don't know if that was a packaging issue but made it hard to eat with the small kids. But overall, excellent evening. Also, the grounds were fantastic. Well done, Four Seasons!

This experience feels overpriced and logistically could use some work. You have to purchase tickets for skating separately and by the hour so we purchased tickets for the first hour of our rental but wanted to take breaks and you aren’t allowed to wear skates to the cabanas so you have to take them off and put your shoes on to go back and forth. They were very strict with the timing and we’re checking wristbands and kicking people off at the hour being up so we really only skated 20 mins because we also wanted to take advantage of the expensive cabana. Tickets should be included with the cabana for your full two hour cabana rental. The cabana itself had been rained on the day we went so several of the seats were wet. They are also cramped close together so a bit hard to move around. Don’t get the s’mores. You will be disappointed. They are trying to provide a fancier s’more but they taste terrible. The marshmallow wouldn’t stay on the stick. The only part worth eating was the chocolate. Would recommend switching to a basic set of s’mores for the nostalgic feel most people want with ordering them. Pricing wise, it didn’t feel worth the $300 rental and then they didn’t tell me in advance there is a service charge and a 20% pool fee and then I tipped on top so it ended up being a much more expensive outing than planned overall. All that to say, our server was great and drinks were good but you could probably get a lot more bang for your buck somewhere else that also provides great service.

This is a lovely idea, however the spaces that feed 6 are very small, should really only hold 4. There is one blanket provided for 6 people. They are also essentially the pool’s cabanas and not truly enclosed so dress warmly. The menu is very limited and there is not room on the table to accommodate plates because of the fire pit, which is a nice touch, but makes the entire space crowded. Our service was also extremely slow and forgetful. We expected much more for the Four Seasons.

The ice rink is really nice. Not too crowded. More table space is needed in the cabin to accommodate food and drinks. Staff was lovely and helpful, but given small table space, the bussing should be much more prompt. Open table menu posted is slightly different than the on-site menu. Have the pizza!

When I heard of the Ice Rodeo, I was excited to have a new Christmas activity in Austin! I booked a cabin for my family of 6. It was a little pricey at $300 for the cabin + food and skating. But, like someone said in a previous review, this is Austin + restaurants (the ones we usually eat at) tend to add up as well. So, price wasn't that big of a deal. Also, this is the Four Seasons. I expect excellence, top notch. And that costs. So, the lights on the way to the Ice Rodeo were pretty and festive. We took lots of pictures with the family. The Ice Rodeo set up was very nice - a smaller rink, not too crowded. We were sometimes the only ones on the ice! The skates were good quality. The cabins were nice + as advertised. A bit 'cozy' for our family of 6 adults. The server was great! He was attentive and did an exceptional job! Now, for the negatives - We didn't realize but there was water (like a lot) pooled in our cabin and all our jackets and purses were dripping when we got up to leave. There wasn't any other place to set your things. So, maybe if they had a side table to put your stuff?? Secondly, we were planning on eating and there isn't really a place to put food. The fire pit takes up the whole space. So that was really unfortunate. I guess we envisioned hanging out, drinking cocktails, sharing appetizers... That's not the vibe. There isn't a place to really put anything. Lastly, the food was really really disappointing. I expected more from this venue. We live in Austin and eat exceptional food all the time. We were all trying to think of some kind of place to compare - it honestly, was comparable to like Main Event or like a theme park. It just really was not the caliber of the 4 Seasons. We expected craft cocktails with beautiful garnishes and they were very basic. We got the smore's and I thought it would be like in the restaurant + it was packaged crackers + chocolate. Not homemade. We made the most of the experience, but will not recommend.

Was amazing. Look, this is their first year doing skating and cabins at the Four Seasons. So - they are learning but EVERYONE working there did everything to help make it a perfect night for five teenage girls to skate, make s’mores in the cabin and eat dinner! Anthony was our server - he was fantastic! Bent over backwards for us and made sure to take awesome care of us. Sure - cabins are $300. . But what in Austin isn’t pricy and it was well worth it. We got front row seats to watch everyone while relaxing. My husband and and I got to sit and relax and watch the girls have fun skating and eating while enjoying our own little fire. Our night was a tad rainy…but it was great because they let us stay longer and we got to enjoy without the rush! Enjoy this now because next year when they really have this hopping it’s going to be tough to get into! Fun times even in 75-80 degree weather!

Absolutely false advertising. The "cabin" looks nothing like the pictures on the site. There is no fire pit, no walls. Just a nice area to sit. Definitely not worth the cost of $300. Service was great.

Hello Rafii, We're glad you were able to join us and enjoy the Four Seasons service. As for the cabins, please know our intent was never to promote an inauthentic experience, but to showcase the potential of what the cabins might be like.Given this is our first year of Ice Rodeo, we didn't have images to use and had to proceed using stock photos. Thank you for your understanding. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we may assist elsewhere. -Frank Tosti, Director of Food & Beverage, 512.685.8038
