Ibiza Food and Wine Bar
The place is really nice and the service was outstanding. We ordered several appetizers and 3 main courses. They all were super tasty and beautifully presented. I will totally recommend this place
Excellent experience. Had numerous small plates, salads and shared . Everything was so well prepared, exhibiting a truly gifted chef/ kitchen. Service was perfect, attentive but not imposing. Timed dishes perfectly, as to not overwhelm the table. This shows great competency by the waitstaff. Gazpacho was expertly prepared, shrimp cakes were delectable, I could go on. Loved it.
Ibiza is always reliable, delicious, and enjoyable, with great service in a very nice setting. Suitable for special occasion or just an evening out with friends.
My go to restaurant for great food and approachable wine list. The kitchen never fails to deliver fresh, innovative, delicious appetizers and entrees. Service is attentive without being intrusive. I’m sorry more of the midtown crowd doesn’t appreciate the quality of this restaurant, but I’m glad that they usually have space for me on short notice!

I treated my friends to the chef’s table dinner with a special request that the chef focused on fresh fruits and vegetables rather than heavy fare.
All six courses were Imaginative, healthy and super yummy. Our server was Kevin supported by Everett. They couldn’t of been nicer.

The food was really good and the service was great. Would come again the only thing I would change is add more to the menu. The selection seemed small.

The red snapper ceviche was delicious. Food presentation was amazing, but the beef tenderloin was just good. Perhaps the fish is what they specialize in more.

Food was uninspired - tasteless, too hot shishito peppers, bland over cooked cauliflower, reheated shrimp cakes, tough shrimp on mushy polenta smothered with glutinous sauce. Nice space but so loud conversation was difficult. Hostile, rude service.
Highly recommend. Varied menu with something for everyone. Everything that I have ever ordered has been exceptional.
Food is very good. However, ive never gotten bread here. Not sure why they dont serve bread to me.
Great food as the first time we visited. We shared tapas with friends. meat balls, ceviche and octopus are always a great choice. I hope they put the tres leches in the regular menu.

We usually love it here but the hostess made us sit at a table that we weren’t pleased with. There were plenty of tables available but she claimed they were spoken for. They were still empty when we left. Also, we ordered a bottle of wine that clearly wasn’t stored at the right temperature.

Our server was fantastic. He was well mannered, allowed us time to order and was very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the daily specials. He was also kind enough to offer his opinion when we asked.
Wine value is amazing. 2011 Baron De Ley Gran Riserva at $32/bottle. So nice to not stress about overpriced wine and get to just enjoy it.
Octopus with chorizo. A six hour process results in a tender octopus enhanced with flavorful and not too spicy tiny cubes of chorizo. Difficult to master, chef Charles admits it took five years to master. His dedication is worth it.
Tomato & Spanish bleu salad (special) - heirloom tomatoes taste greenhouse-grown, maybe too early in the season. Not enough acid. Cheese very good - creamy and pleasantly pungent. Pickled Spanish onion paired well. Late season, high acid tomatoes would really elevate the dish.
Braised lamb - very good and so succulent and flavorful (rich and meaty) that only the bone remained. The vegetables were nicely paired and the jus from the lamb spread through them making a cohesive dish.
I wanted every one of the desserts but decided on the buttermilk pound cake. It was simple and wonderful, just the way it should be. The pound cake was dense and tasty, the ice cream has just a hint of cheesecake tartness and the berries were succulent.
All in all a wonderful way to close out a week in Houston. I WILL be back.
Delicious food. We had the ceviche and fried oyster appetizers and the tuna and snapper entrees. Everything was excellent quality. The wine was both delicious and reasonably priced. We will return again to Ibiza. An excellent meal.
Back corner table on Louisiana St was quiet so we could have pleasant conversation all evening. A quiet table is rare these days anywhere. Carlos was our excellent waiter and Chef Charles Clark was turning out great creations from his kitchen.
Paella for our anniversary has become a tradition for us here. Decided to bring our two well-behaved teenagers to celebrate with us this year. Server was subpar at best. Was more interested In chitchatting with the other patrons than actually serving; or, in our case, unnecessarily inserting his opinion into the conversation at the table with the two teenagers. We weren’t even provided menus until the manager could see we were getting annoyed and sent another server with the menus. Very disappointing. Not sure I can be objective about the food relative to the price and the frustration.
Definitely a great food destination. Try the soup with crabmeat and you’ll definitely come back for more. Our waiter was very attentive and recommended some very good entrees.
Ibiza was such a pleasant experience. Our server was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable of both on and off menu items. Food was spectacular! This was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back!
Everything was excellent. Of course this made for a really nice dinner date experience. The service was exceptionally good. The server, Naomi, was always on time and always present when we had questions.

From arrival through departure the service was excellent. We were going to the symphony and they staged the meal so we got out exactly when we needed to leave. Each of us had a different dish each was done just as requested from octopus to veal chop.
We loved it!
