Our meals were delicious and Ryan, our server, was attentive without being intrusive. My wife and I each had a beverage, an appetizer (lobster bisque and escargot), and a steak dinner (Neptune and Diane). All the food was delicious. Including tax and tip, the meal came to $300.

Great experience and great service! We ordered steaks which were very good, however, The Keg would do the same, the price is high for food, you are paying for the overall ambiance!

It was my cousin’s birthday and we had tickets to see the Moulin Rouge show right after. We let the gentleman overseeing our table know and he made sure we got everything in time and made it out early too. Everything was amazing. Tye was super patient and attentive, and made excellent recommendations for wine, food, and dessert. All the staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to come again. My aunt’s exact words were “best restaurant in Toronto I have ever been to”. Thank you Hy for making us feel welcomed and caring about our time even more than us.

We took a very important client for lunch because we thought it would be an easy experience. The food was acceptable and the service, although cold and forced, wasn't the worst. We got what we needed to get across to our client and almost got to the finish line, but our lunch was ruined because the credit card machines for some reason were not accepting VISA credit cards. My VPs card declined 3 time, then mine 2 time, then again my VP 3 times. We went through three different machines until my MasterCard finally worked. The client was so unimpressed and late for their next meeting that they just left. It was so embarrassing. That should be the easiest part of the experience. Probably will not be bringing any more important clients here.

I ordered the “fish special “ that day, which was a small piece of regular Salmon and I was charged $65. I have never been charged that much for salmon ever. Miso Cod dishes at nicer restaurants cost $80(dollars which is multiples better than salmon)

I really enjoyed my night out to celebrate this year's birthday with my best friend. We caught a friend's son's hockey game and then travelled out to Toronto, from Milton, to Hy's. Traffic wasn't too bad or at least it wasn't bad enough to ruin our night or make us late for our reservation. Everything inside Hy's was exceptional. I've wanted to enjoy the experience for many months and I finally got to have it again and I'm glad we did it. Hy's Steakhouse is my favourite restaurant to date. Most importantly, the food was great and it seems it always is when I go there. I have a few very fond memories of my experiences at Hy's over the course of my life.

The service was wonderful. The restaurant followed the classical-style of keeping certain standards (e.g. types of utensil placement, routinely monitoring the table arrangement). Food was exquisite. Due to the amount of quality dishes, my friends and I did a lot of sharing with the seafood and steak. We had the Caesar Salad and the Banana Foster. Both dishes were prepped by the table. The server showed each ingredient that went into them and discussed the process of what was being done. It was a great show to see and learn from. Highly recommend visiting this place.

Service by Gabe was fantastic. He gave excellent recommendations and made sure we were out on time for the show we were going to see. Beef Wellington was delicious, but I should have ordered an extra side. Salted Carmel Crème Brûlée was amazing. Will definitely come back!
