Place is beautiful high energy contemporary service was a little slow but good food was excellent ribeye steak on a bone was very good. The corn was excellent overall 8 out of 10.

AJ was awesome at the bar alongside the other bartenders. They remembered us! Cocktails were great! Great bar scene. The carpaccio was amazing! Pork chop was great as was the spinach au gratin. The piano player last night was great! My only issue is the piano player needs to stay until 11-12. It’s way too early. We want to stay longer with entertainment. I think it would be a good business decision. People would come later! Such a great energy. Don’t let it end so early.

Loved our first visit to Hyde Park Steakhouse. Our servers CJ and Mia were very attentive. The food was on the mark. Beautiful decor. We will be back.

I’m not running back. At first, we walked in and loved the vibe and everyone was so friendly. But it all went downhill from there. They made every cocktail incorrectly, we had to send three back. The carpaccio was good, but the service went downhill after it got busy. The steak was mediocre at best, room temp. And we sat being ignored for a long time with dirty plates as our waiter spoke to other tables and bused them. When we told him we felt ignored, he mention he worked at st. Andrews and other table was a table he knew from there. Wow! What he failed to realized was that he doesn’t work there anymore and that we are paying customers here, at his currently employment. Ordered an espresso martini again came wrong then watery. Dessert was just ok! Save yourself the money and go to bourbon steak down the road, which was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

Hyde Park steakhouse is excellent. The steaks you can cut with a fork. The fish is fresh and cook properly terrific wedge and Caesar salad the brussels sprouts with bacon marmalade very good. The vibe is a little loud but energetic and tolerable they were slammed so the service was a little spotty, but overall excellent.

It’s an OK steakhouse with a good vibe in a good location. The lobster escargot was great as an app and my wife loved the lemon sole. My steak was WAY undercooked, less than rare, but was decent the second round. The sides were basic and nothing to remember and the butter cake feature desert was awful for a butter cake. The edges were soft instead of the typical crispy edges and the sauce was an Apple cinnamon which didn’t seem fitting. Overall, the service is not what you’d expect in a fine dining place. Wine and sparkling water is left on table instead of off to the side or in a chiller and there is no server assist on a Friday night to help clear the table and refill water etc when server busy.

It was our 3rd time back and we really like it, but the kitchen is still working out the kinks on the. steak temperature. and amount of seasoning. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time we've sent it back, but also the 2nd time that they've gotten it right after the initial issue. Staff couldn't be nicer or try harder. We'll be back!!

Couldn’t have had a better place to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary! From the moment we approached Hyde Park to the moment we left everything was top notch! Each person we encountered went out of their way to make tonight special and each person was extremely down to earth and personable! Jacob, the host, wished us a Happy Anniversary as soon as we approached him and said he could seat us right away or we could wait for a table he had planned for us that was a little more special. We said we were happy to wait for that table. Upon approaching that table, there were rose petals and an Anniversary card for us. Additionally, they had personalized the menus and had Happy Anniversary printed on the Gluten Free Menu that was given to me and Happy Anniversary on the regular menu given to Chris. Sean, our waiter, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu items and very friendly. We both had Smoked Old Fashions but Chris had the Barell C11K Bourbon and I had Angels Envy with Amaretto Disaronno, black cherry, bitters and an orange slice. I ordered the Roasted Garlic &Mushroom 14oz NY Strip Steak and Chris ordered the 8oz Cabernet Filet Mignon. We had the Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon Marmalade and The Millionaires Potatoes which consisted of stuffed baked potatoe twins, white chedder and black truffle and looked like popovers to me. Kia, one of the managers, surprised us with a Flourless Chocolate Torte with a candle for dessert.
