Those lemon drops omggggg I’m in love 😂🥰
Such a great experience!
My friends and I ate dinner here to celebrate my bachelorette weekend. The food was amazing! You definitely need to order a side of the potato Gruyère gratin, so cheesy and good.
Food was excellent. Variety of options and the presentation on the plate was great. When we arrived they had live music which set the evening with great food and atmosphere.
We always enjoy eating at Hyde Park. The staff, the food, the experience - all around a really great restaurant. Highly recommend !
Love this place and the staff is amazing
Great food and atmosphere with live music. Our server was great but the waits were at times way too long…understaffed? Prices are high.
This was our first visit to Hyde Park and I have to say everything was top notch ! This experience ranked up there with the Mastro's, Tony's and many other high end steak places we have eaten at. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Indianapolis. They had a dessert special of Red Velvet cake - OMG probably the best we have ever had. All around a must experience if you are looking for a great steak house in downtown Indy.
It was AMAZING. I will always recommend this place for a special occasion or date night, and will absolutely be coming back. Well done Hyde Park!
I loved it
Excellent food and service. The steaks were perfectly prepared in the side dishes excellent. The music provided by the piano player/singer created a very nice atmosphere. The entire atmosphere is top-notch, probably as good as any restaurant in the city. Service was great as usual.
This place is not inexpensive, but delivers in accordance with the pricing.
Exceptional food and wonderful Old Fashioneds. Great pre-game dinner surrounded by Georgia fans!
The food was outstanding, and the service was above average for the large crowd to which the staff attended. The ribeye was perfect, and this is coming from a "ribeye snob".
Appetizers, main course, sides and drinks were all delicious. Great service too!
We were not able to get into Capital Grill at the last minute, but we were all very pleasantly surprised- great meal and would definitely return.
Great food! Great service!
Great food all around. Service was mediocre. Understand there were a lot of people there however for the prices it could have been better. Onion soup was almost as good as Les Halles in NYC. Burger was off the hook.
My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience on Jan. 8, 2022. Our waiter, Paul was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us picking the right wine the was perfect with our main course.
We also had visits from the General Manager, Larry Drechsler and the Manager, Nicola Gabriele who asked about our needs and if we were satisfied with our meal.
We were also impressed with the modeling, making a larger bar with entertainment.
Awesome experience, I will definitely be back!!!
Love this place. Food was good, service was excellent and overall experience was outstanding.
Great food and drink, excellent service!
Great music, service and ambiance. Food was very good, will definitely return.
The ribeye steaks, spicy tuna roll, French onion soup and smoked old fashioned were our favorite items that we ordered. We will definitely be back!
Fabulous New Year’s Eve celebration. This was our first time dining at Hyde Park, and all I can say is WOW!!!!! The food and service was amazing. We had spicy tuna rolls, thick bacon and a crab cake for appetizers. Plenty to share around the table. And each one better than the one before. Dinners were beyond delicious…steak cooked perfectly and just melted in your mouth. We most certainly will be back!
My wife and I booked this wonderful date night for New Years Eve and boy were we pleasantly surprised. Visiting Indianapolis from Chicago you always feel there’s no way the food selection can top Chicago. Boy were we wrong! The steaks were cooked to perfection as well as the seafood appetizers we enjoyed. The live music and overall vibe of the restaurant were fantastic! Our waitress was a little blah during this meal and really had no insight on the menu or drinks which is a pet peeve of mine but outside of that it was an enjoyable meal and experience overall!
We loved everything about the restaurant. The atmosphere was great with live music, upscale decor and knowledgeable servers. Our server and the manager helped us find the perfect bottle of wine for our dining experience. The noise level was perfectly fine for us but may be a little loud for a more romantic type dinner date or occasion. The food was great besides for the millionaire’s potatoes, they were a little dry and didn’t have much flavor to them. I ordered the Steak Andretti. From the massive 40oz tomahawk presentation, the perfect outer char to the mouthwatering flavor, it did not disappoint. My wife enjoyed her Reggie Wayne steak. The sauce was amazing and she barely needed a knife to cut it since it was so tender. The bacon was good as well, much thicker and more flavorful than your average run of the mill bacon. We opted for the Carrot cake for dessert. It was the single biggest piece of cake I’ve seen and it was absolutely delicious. It is one of the more expensive places we’ve dined at in downtown Indy but it was worth it to us and we will be back!
Food was incredible!! We met another couple for New Years Eve. I had the New York Strip & Lobster Tail and my wife had the Filet - both were perfectly marbled and cooked. We had a cocktail while waiting on our reservation and there was a great bourbon list. The service could have been better for a fine dining experience, but it was a busy holiday night. Certainly recommend!
Great service and delicious top quality steak.
Not over whelming but not under whelming, smoked old fashioned was amazing.
Wonderful experience! Excellent food; so tasty and full of flavor. Great service.
We went to Hyde Park for New Years. The food was on par with the other upscale steakhouses. Steak was tasty and cooked to perfection. The Cabernet reduction was grear. Fish (sea bass) was good, not the best(slightly more fishy and firm than usual) but prepared very well. Sides were good- would recommend the spinach, but would’ve liked creamed spinach option. Broccoli was good, but not really blacked, not not flavored as much as expected. Mac and Cheese- breadcrumbs on top were delicious, but cheese was slightly bland. Kids menu was fabulous- but would’ve liked a steak option and salmon option. The service was exceptional- period. Live music was done very nicely- tasteful songs and the perfect volume. Of note- on New Years there’s a 2 hour time limit on the table. Although this wasn’t a problem for us, we should’ve known about this when we booked the reservation.
Steaks are amazing! Best we have ever had! We had sushi for an appetizer which was also amazing!
Great atmosphere, dinner was delicious my hubby ordered the rib eye bone in and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare) I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass over Bok choy it just ok, felt it was under cooked. The sides were delicious! Brussel Sprouts and mashed potatoes. Cocktails were on point as was Joe the bartender. If ever in Indy again we would definitely return.
New Year’s Eve dinner, it’s was perfect!
Fantastic experience. Fresh bitters in the smoky and cherry old fashioned. The smoked version came with in a presentation smoke vault glass cauldron. U6 Shrimp cocktail came out with presentation dry ice display. Tasty sauce that wasnt too spicy. The Japanese steaks came with a certificate and chef personally shared the cut and discussed his prep and cook methods prior to beginning. The Japanese A5 olive wagyu was superb in presentation and flavor. Was accompanied by a dark truffle infused sauce that made me forget how to spell A1 steak sauce. Mid rare may have been too dark. Thats the only time I have ever stated that. Dessert was vanilla brulee which tasted great enough without the fancy flamed entry.
Celebrated my husbands birthday with a delicious steak dinner. Our server, Zach, really made the evening special. Thank you for the great time & food!
Fantastic meal and service. I've been to to several Hyde Park restaurants and I love that no matter where, the food and service are always top notch. Thank you Doug and the rest of staff for a fine evening, glad Indy is back open
It was a nice cozy experience. Our server was wonderful & food was delicious. Lobster bisque was the best in town.
