    Andrea our server and the other guy (forgot his name) were awesome really nice people. The food was awesome have to try the lobster Mac and cheese delicious! Lamb chops were delicious, croutons are specialized yummy. Definitely would recommend

    Brian and Josh were great. The greet took a little while but they were very busy. Once they greeted us I felt like I didn’t choose anything, they made all my selections. From drinks to food to sides everything was perfect.Definitely a special occasion dinner and they knocked it out the park. Deffinetly if you want premium steak this is your spot!!!     Fantastic dining experience; staff was accommodating, food and wine choice’s excellent. Restaurant is very popular- it was busy, many diners celebrating special occasions, but no rush to get through the meal.

    I’m sorry I’ve tried it several times, looking for a steak restaurant in Volusia County. It’s just not good. No flavor to the meat probably won’t go back.

    Par excellence with one small exception. I had a ribeye requested to be rare but came medium well while my companion had a filet requested medium rare came on medium well. We certainly did not send them back but enjoyed what was served. Would we return? In a NY minute

    Went for our Anniversary and they had a special table with rose petals and a card. Were promptly greeted by Chris and Haley (servers) who were friendly and attentive. Ordered the special sea bass dinner with lobster bisque and jumbo crab appetizer. The lobster soup was full of lobster with every bite, the sea bass was perfectly cooked and topped with crab and sauce. The crab appetizer was large and all backfin meat. My wife had the steak and lobster with onion soup and a wedge salad. The steak was tender and could aloost be cut with a fork. The lobster was perfectly cooked and delicious. At the end of the meal we were provided a complimentary dessert of a deconstructed smore's which was delicious. Tad on the pricey side at $215 but the meal was fabulous. Definitely a special occasion place to go.

    This was my bday dinner and first time eating here. Let me tell you this is the best steak house I’ve ever eaten at. I only eat steak 🥩 once a year; it was cooked to perfection. The drinks and wine mmm delicious and the lobster nac and cheese was outstanding. Thank you for my free bday desert. We’ll definitely be back🎂❤️

    I have been to Hyde Park about a dozen times. This is the first time I had a bad experience. Orders were not delivered as taken. Wrong food was delivered to the table. Steaks overcooked. Poor service. Sad Day!

    We usually rate this place as 5 stars, but sad to say, we took our guests who have never been here before, and although our servers Bruce and his assistant were great, the manager was not! My hubby’s steak was smaller than advertised and not cooked properly the first time and the manager was annoyed that we inquired about it and sent it back! No apologies, no checking up when the second steak came out, just unprofessional & unpleasant!

    Had our anniversary dinner here. The steaks were great, the wedge salad was not worth 15.00 and the cocktails were vastly overpriced. The red blend bottle I chose was fairly priced and delicious and our service from Theresa and Chris was friendly and efficient. We appreciated the anniversary card and s’mores dessert.

    One of our party ordered the special - a 14 oz bone in filet. When it was brought to the table, the steak was in 2 pieces; a bone section with a little meat and what appeared to be a separate filet. When we questioned the server, she inquired of the manager and came back and told us “ this is how we have been getting the bone in filets and we use meat glue to hold them together”. Obviously we sent the steak back and ordered a replacement dish. The manager then came to our table and refuted what the server had said about “meat glue”. He assured us he would have the new dish out asap. After 20 minutes, the rest of us were nearly finished eating and still no replacement was brought. We asked for our server and told her we did not want the meal at this point and please bring the check. Within 5 minutes the manager came back to our table with a new meal and offered to box it up. We refused. The whole point of eating out at a nice restaurant is to enjoy a meal together. This was disappointing because we felt like the manager did not follow up to make sure the new dish was brought out in a timely manner. Three out of four of us had a very good meal but it was marred by the fact that one of us had to sit awkwardly while we ate so our food did not get cold while we waited. We have eaten at Hyde Park several times and have had very good experiences in the past. This debacle over a steak prepared with “meat glue” and then not following through makes me think twice about going again anytime soon.

    The food is always good. They needed more servers. Our server was too busy to give us 5 star service. She was working hard but could not keep up.

    Superb food, great service, beautiful location by the beach and just south of the Daytona Bandshell, so not only did we enjoy a great meal, we also were able to listen to a concert with fabulous music! Of course, once the music started playing, conversation became difficult, but I still recommend this place to all, though if you want to sit outside, you may want to check the bandshell schedule to see if your date and time may have musical accompaniment!
