Ambience is great and food is amazing. My friend had the Smoked Salmon and I had the lobster Benedict. it was amazing. Will certainly go back.

I love this place for the location, quality food and quietness. This is the cafe that I visit the most often downtown.

I have been to Hutch a couple of times and the food and service has always been fantastic. Highly recommend!!

The food was very nice and the restaurant had good atmosphere. But service was poor - we waited over an hour for our food. No servers came by in between to check on us until we had to flag someone down to ask about the food. Perhaps we were unlucky that day.

It’s a little gem. I didn’t know about this place until I was looking for a brunch place near Prince Island, was supposed to book at another restaurant but they are full and found Hutch, and I’m very Happy I did. The overall Ambiance is really cozy we were at the patio too, and the exterior is neat. I ordered the House made Mortadella and my friend got the Salmon Benne if I’m not mistaken, and both are really really good! For the drinks I had the traditional macchiato and cold latte (will show on photo) and we both enjoyed it. The servers are very attentive specially the guy who would always come to refill our water (thank you) .. We both love the experience and will definitely go back to try the other menu!

The black cod is becoming my favourite... so is the mushroom truffle oil open sandwich... In fact, all the dishes are amazing!

Great food, great service, best lobster rolls with huge chunks of claw meat.

My new favourite: the slow Baked Black Cod. It comes with Gallo Island Mussels, Chorizo, Piquillo Pepper, Sun Dried Tomato, Chickpea Ragout...and that Salsa Verde!!! Yummy!

I normally don't go for the veggie dish but I tried this ovo-vegetarian Wild Mushrooms and Truffle Butter Toast... and it was fantastic! Rich, creamy, lightly sweet and salty! such an original dish!

This place is stellar! An awesome hidden gem, with brunch and high tea! The ambiance is lovely, the staff are awesome and everything was such great value for what we spent! We went for brunch but certainly coming again to try the high tea!

Nicely decorated place, high ceilings for a great conversation with friends. Feeling very well invited once you meet with the server.
Food is amazing here and really good price. Needless to say it is the place to come for a treat.

I enjoyed the mushroom toast with sous-vide eggs and truffle oil. Not your typical type of breakfast / brunch.

The BLT burger was excellent. The homemade pickles were refreshing and balanced well meat patty. A must-try!

Hutch is just the best combo café + restaurant you will find. Delicious coffee and meals, friendly staff, very nice and cozy environment and at a great location! They also put up a great brunch menu on weekends and a great selection of dessert options - from small bites to full size cake slices! My personal recommendation: the syphon coffee. Something sweeter? The Hazelnut Latte! No matter what you order, you're just gonna love it!

Such a beautiful restaurant! The room, the light, the serving dishes, even the water glasses are beautiful. Nice compact menu. Service is professional and friendly too. Manager Gary came and welcomed us. Nice!

French cafe style, elevated. Soups, salads, sandwiches, rillettes, confits. And coffee, lots of coffee. Had a Rose Latte- delicious, and almost too beautiful to drink. They have coffee syphons too. Will try next time.

Had the lobster roll with bisque. Simple roll like you would get in Halifax, but more elegant. Bisque was rich and 100 miles deep. In a beautiful copper pot. Heaven. My friend had the beef sandwich. Too good to share, he said.

Gosh I miss restaurants. This was a great place to venture back in. COVID-safe, felt very comfortable. Thanks to all.
