One of the best places to eat in a long time. Definitely recommend and would come back.
Great food and services. Highly recommend if you enjoy food!
My husband and I had dinner there during our vacation. Loved the food and the different than usual menu. Felt a little like our waiter didn’t care much, but otherwise, good.
Loved the food , service, cocktails & bourbon list
Scallops and Cobia were excellent! The waiter was extremely informative, aiding us in our ordering decision. As usual the cornbread was a highlight!
Beautiful booth, excellent food but Cassandra was not very friendly!
Wonderful farm to table dining. The list of food purveyors is displayed in the entry way. Charming old, gracious building. High ceilings. Bar is upstairs. Great ambiance. There is an elevator. Knowledgeable server. If you want huge portions, this is not the place for you, but the preparation is stellar.
Such a lovely experience for our honeymoon dinner. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious with unique but wonderful flavor combinations.
Food outstanding and service excellent. We will definitely come back for more memorable moments while in Savannah.
Wonderful first dining experience since the start of the pandemic. We had brunch, were in a side dining space, that was still appropriately distanced. Our server, David, explained things clearly, gave good suggestions, and was super attentive. The food was fantastic! We had a panna cotta appetizer, with a beet and blueberry compote. I don't even like beets, and it was so well composed, it was perhaps the best bite of food I've had in a year. Everything in each of the dishes is thoughtful and balanced. But, I just have to RAVE about the drinks for a moment. The I had a genever based cocktail that was slightly sweet, herbacious and a 10/10, but the real show stopper was the non-alcoholic Cafe Xolo that was the real show stopper. That drink is fantastic, and I'm still thinking about it. In fact, I would pay for the recipe to make it at home. Spicy ginger, roasty/chocolatey coffee...angostura floater. I'm in love!!
The best meal I’ve had so far in Savannah. Drinks were delish and the food was to die for. Staff is so kind and overall it’s just a great place to have brunch or dinner. Do not skip, make reservations because they book up!
We arrived late due to parking difficulties (no on site parking and finding a spot in downtown Savannah can be a challeng). No worries though as the staff sat us right away and we had a lovely brunch.
Food and drinks were outstanding. David, our waiter, was great.
Service was terrible, food mediocre at best. We had a late reservation which may have accounted for some of this but if you want to be a first rate restaurant this should never be in play. It was our Fiftieth wedding anniversary and after we were presented with our check the waiter commented that it was our silver anniversary. I guess that says it all!! very disappointed.
Amazing as always. Great food, great service, great experience!
Did not disappoint. Can’t lie that the cornbread was best ever
The chefs creative flavor combinations were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful. The pimento profiteroles are worth the journey.
We were looking forward to a very nice meal, only to be left not just underwhelmed, but rather disappointed and even annoyed. Tasteless cornbread and far too over-salted scallops, indicate a kitchen in dire need of a new chef. The grouper was good, but nothing particularly special. Even the wine pour, was meager. The service was excellent, all of the staff has a nice southern warmth and the porch setting, very nice. But in totality, there are far better dining options in Savannah than Husk. My opinion: its a Skip
Restaurant is beautiful. Food was good - not amazing. Service was great.
We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and had an amazing experience. My husband said it was one of the best birthdays ever. From the food, to the whiskey flight to the ambiance everything was fantastic. Looking forward to coming here again for dinner the next time we are visiting Savannah
Phenomenal food. The seafood was extremely fresh. We had pimiento stuffed profiteroles that melted in our mouths. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend
Great concept and exciting flavors. Smaller portion size vs high price seemed a bit off- especially for the steak. Overall, would recommend if you like fresh/local cuisine and something different.
One of the top restaurants in Savannah and one of our favorite dining experiences anywhere. Unique selections, with smart and savvy service and gorgeous ambiance, it was the perfect setting for our anniversary dinner.
Highly recommend the kohlrabi Caesar, if they have it. And the scallops were perfectly prepared, spicy and tender. Both were recommendations from our server, Mike—so if they aren’t on the daily menu when you go, trust your server!
Yummy. And great service. Everything tasted delicious. Love the bar upstairs too!
This restaurant offered the opposite of a fun, delicious dining experience. The server was checked out.. almost bothered that he had to take our order. The food was ok.. well cooked but plain/boring. The lighting in the bar room was weird. This was on my Savannah “places to visit” list and I was wildly disappointed. Skip this...find a great hole in the wall restaurant and have some fun.
We’ve been to Husk Nashville and Savannah before. Usually it is a top notch meal and experience. This was not the case last night. Our server Chris was slow and not attentive at all. He did not communicate to us why our entrees were so long to come out. We ordered and entrees came out an hour and forty five minutes later. Chris was not around our table hardly at all. I guess the excuse is that it was Memorial Day but the restaurant was on cruise control last night and not focused on the customer at all. The food was good not great.
This restaurant seemed to be trying too hard to be creative and it just fell flat for me. I mean how do you screw up corn bread. The dinner menu was less than exciting and the dessert menu was even worse.
I’ve had much better at country dinners in the middle of nowhere.
We sat outside on the porch and it was a beautiful evening. The food was delicious. I had a vegan chefs special and my husband had the cobia. Both were great and Scott our waiter helped us pick out a wonderful and not too expensive wine.
We had a fantastic night out at Husk! Service was flawless and we really enjoyed the wines, peel and eat shrimp, pimento cheese profiteroles, cobia and steak. We couldn’t have asked for a better “re-entry to society, post-Covid” dinner.
Husk is set in an old mansion is a mix of stunning old world classics and new age style. The food was outstanding- we got the caviar service, the peel and eat shrimp, the cornbread, the Husk charcuterie, the chicken liver mousse and the heritage pork! Everything was great, but the chicken liver mousse was stand out! I also loved the egg yolk jam
And house made fennel vinegar that went with the caviar service! It was a memorable evening and the attention to detail was appreciated. Also, the music was awesome!
Food and service were amazing
First time, for milestone anniversary. Engaging, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Unique and varied menu. Excellent wine recommendations. Delightful experience. Thanks, Scott for a wonderful evening!
Fresh modern takes on southern fare, everything was delicious and well prepared!
One of the best meals and dining experiences we’ve had.
We had a great dining experience at Husk! While our table wasn’t ready right away when we arrived, with a short 10 minute wait we were seated. We had a great server with Leo and the sommelier was also fantastic. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and food creativity. We started with the pimento cheese profiteroles which were tasty but probably the least favorite part of the meal. For mains we had the chicken and pork both of which were outstanding but both need to be eaten as a combined bite. Eating items individually were ok but together they were amazing. The cornbread was great and nice a crispy on the outside from the wood fired oven. The pile beans and squash were also good although slightly burnt as they were also cooked in the wood fired oven oven. When we return to Savannah we will definitely come back to Husk!!
Very good service. A bit pricey but excellent food.
Excellent meal. Good service. Nice ambiance. Couldn’t ask for anything more
After dining at Husk Charleston, discovering Husk Savannah was great. Although a small menu offering, all was creative and exceptional.
First of all , the restaurant is housed in a restored mansion, which is gorgeous! We were seated in a small room upstairs, at a table for 2, in front of a beautiful fireplace (unlit of course, since it was 90 degrees outside). For a little while we had the room to ourselves, which was delightfully romantic.
Our server Mike was perfect.. he made suggestions and explained the menu in an intelligent, informative manner. Service was impeccable, and everything that we ate was delicious and perfectly prepared, from the raw oysters to the tuna sashimi to the scallops.. oh those scallops.. tender and buttery with just the right amount of heat to make your mouth happy! We almost didn't order the cornbread, but were so happy that we changed our minds.. served hot in a little iron skillet, with a side of sorghum butter.. it was perfect!
We ended the night with 2 of their enormous rye, white chocolate and blueberry cookies.
The meal, the evening was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday.
Thank you Mike, and thank you to the chefs at Husk for creating a memorable meal!
