Husk - Savannah
highlights the unique ingredients of coastal Georgia. Located on W. Oglethorpe St. in the heart of
Savannah’s Landmark Historic District, the restaurant is situated on what is known to be one of the most
haunted blocks in the city. Originally built in 1898, the building has a vibrant history and plenty of (ghost)
stories to share. The cuisine of Husk Savannah upholds a strictly Southern philosophy –
working with local farmers and purveyors for a menu of exclusively Southern-grown ingredients.
Tried-and-true techniques of seed-saving, heirloom husbandry, in-house pickling and charcuterie
programs by the culinary team are the basis of Husk’s offerings with a menu that changes twice daily.

I just love having dinner and drinks at Husk.
I usually enjoy lunch at Husk and have avoided dinner because of the noise level but this time I requested my favorite downstairs table and was delighted with both the food and service- I was introducing g some out of town friends to our local foods and Husk was the perfect location to tell that story from the plates
Great lunch here! Lovely space, super waitress and Southern cooking with a twist. Loved the pimento cheese with crackers and okra pickles and the ham and biscuits plus the roasted cobia.
We enjoyed our dinner and drinks. The food was good but felt that Husk Charleston was a bit better. We had scallops and pork. Scallops were excellent but plate and serving was small...only 4 scallops. Pork was good. We’d definitely go again.
Wonderful food, wonderful service.
So disappointed for a chef to tell me the potato wedges are pared with the burger so my keto diet is not as important as his paring and no he will not give me anything else if I do not want his potato wedges.
What a special dining established!
Attention to the details, a long with fresh ingredients, made is a very special meal.
Great wine list too!
Absolutely loved every second! They made us feel special for our anniversary and the food was delicious!! Julie is a phenomenal server!
Loved everything about it, food, our waitress was superb, along with everyone that brought food over, all knowledgeable, kind, gracious people. The wine... the decor... it was all such a great experience. Love!!!!!!!!
Our service was inattentive and fragmented. For instance our 2nd courses were brought out before we had begun our first course. We had explained to our server what the order should have been. We were not asked if we wanted another drink; we finally asked to see the wine list. 2 months ago we dined at Delaney Street Oyster Bar where everything was exceptional. In September we dined at Husk in Greenville, S.C. where we had a fantastic experience. We left Husk, Savannah, and had an after dinner drink at another restaurant.
Allows a special treat. Impeccable services, speciality cocktails, and unique food.
Very limited menu, small portions, overpriced. Very disappointed. Service was good and the restaurant was not too noisy.
Amazing food and excellent service.
Underwhelmed. Was expecting better but was disappointed. Ambiance was lovely but food mediocre at best. With their reputation, was expecting more.
Cauliflower Soup and Duck Confit out of this world!
Our waiter Michael was phenomenal! Excellent service, and wonderful food. Beef absolutely cooked to perfection.
Phenomenal food and outstanding service! Highly recommend
Wonderful dining experience. Service and food both excellent. Wait staff was free and knowledgeable. We would return in a heartbeat:
Simply and succinctly; Husk was an extraordinary experience.
We were with out of town guests that I had given a private tour of The Telfair and Jepson Center and Husk was right around the corner. We've been frequent diners and it seemed a great place to take them. Ironically they are stopping in Charleston for a few days on their way back north and their son told them that they needed to go to Husk there. Now they can compare. We were all very happy and pleased with our lunch!
The restaurant is in a beautiful space. Food and wine are quite pricey and the menu is very limited. There are better choices in Savannah.
Had dinner with my family on vacation. Our waitress was excellent. Amazing service and food/drink suggestions. My kids loved the roasted chicken dish. Great ambiance as well. Will definitely dine here again.
We went to Husk while on vacation with expectations of a nice experience
A great meal begins with great service. For my wife and I, good food gets even better when the service is exceptional (and great food is often diminished conversely!). In this case our server Libby was excellent . Her extensive knowledge of r to he components of each dish was extremely helpful. She also was able to direct us to an excellent wine. I cannot offer enough praise for Libby and the tone she set for an outstanding meal. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We were in a beautiful side room. The bar area and dining area is stunning and high energy. Fantastic overall physical space. The quality of our meal was outstanding. We had oysters - wonderfully selected by Libby- and the peanut horseradish and cocktail sauce were both superb. We loved the peanut horseradish....it added great texture to the cold briny oysters. We had the kohlrabi Caesar salad and the grilled Romaine salad. The Caesar was very different. It was delicious and I would order it again...but did not taste much like a tradition Caesar to my taste. The romaine was excellent toy prepared and more of a usual salad. For entrees we had coal roasted chicken with sea island red peas. Both were wonderfully prepared. The chicken had a slight Smokey flavor and was juicy and flavorful. I could eat a bowl of the peas right now—excellent! We also had scallops with a wonderful broth and Carolina gold rice with a small amount of collards dashi. The scallops were succulent and nice size. They tasted to me like they were cooked in a small amount of bacon grease which gave them a rich crusty outside that I loved. The rice was exceptional. A bowl of the rice with the sea island peas should be offered as an option...it would be amazing! We finished the meal by splitting the panna cotta with citrus. A wonderful, light, creamy, and delicious desert. We highly recommend Husk. Thank you Libby for a great evening.
Fantastic regional Southern fare, promised and delivered!
Great meal and service at Husk Savannah! Went to dinner with friends visiting from NY and we all had delicious meals and a great time. We loved the smaller, more personal dining rooms, and we had an amazing waitperson, Libby. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional. Will definitely be back again!
Great food in a festive and eclectic setting. Great vibe!
I was very
Unfortunately Husk was a disappointment. With mounting competition in the Savannah restaurant scene, Husk's architectural/interior design/layout were lacking. The food was nothing extraordinary. The Grey and Local 11Ten were two others we tried during our weekend visit...both were superior to Husk's food and menu. All of that said, I do like the Charleston location and have had a couple of great experiences there.
Everything was amazing! Definitely pricey, but totally worth it! Great portions and staff was very attentive, but not intrusive. Highly recommend.
We have been to Husk so many times since they opened and they have never failed to amaze! The food is unbelievable, the service, a step above, and the overall experience is what makes this one of our favorites! We have eaten at 5 star restaurants around the world and Husk compares favorably to all of them. Ask for Anna’s section when you go - she’s fabulous! And Regan, the sommelier, is a wealth of knowledge on the best wine to complement your meal. You can’t go wrong with this choice.
Only negative is they ran out of fried chicken before we arrived!
Service/waitress was 10-10
We LOVE Husk, but sadly our brunch experience there yesterday was awful. We waited 35-40 minutes for our meals to be brought out and there was zero communication from the staff, nor our server, Ema, regarding what was taking so long. Once the food was brought, Ema never even came back to ask how our meals were or if we needed anything. She did come by when I was half way through my meal and asked if I wanted another mimosa...I ordered another, but she forgot to bring it and I didn’t receive it until I had finished my meal. Very irritating. I have no doubt that she may have been busy, (even though the upstairs wasn’t busy for the 11:45am reservation)-but she was one of the worst servers I’ve ever encountered. The cheeseburger was outstanding, and possibly the best in SAV, but I have no interest in coming back if the service continues to be so slow.
I sat at the bar. Service was attentive. I ordered the three course Valentine Day special (oysters, pan seared scallops, and chocolate cake). Oysters were extremely fresh. The scallops were perfectly cooked. Wished that there were more of it. Highly recommend it.
Beautiful building. Drinks and food were great. Portions were small but was excellent.
The restaurant is beautiful! All the way down to the chairs, it is decorated very well. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. Food is very good but it is very small portions for a very large price. The oysters are top notch so I suggest getting a bunch of those (since the price isn’t as bad on those) to supplement how small the entree is. All in all I would recommend for a nice night out.
Excellent service and a true culinary johrney. Waitress provided great recommendations. We were totally satisfied with our experience. Decor and vibe were complementary. Would definitely dine again.
Great venue but a little pricey.
Wonderful brunch. Everyone enjoyed their food & beverages. The boys had burgers. The girls had the shrimp roll. A side of candied bacon for the table. We’ll be back!
