Welcome to Husk Farm Distillery - the home of Ink Gin and makers of Australia's only paddock-to-bottle Cultivated Rum.
We are located on our 150 acre family farm in the Tweed Valley, with views across the paddocks towards Wollumbin.
Our cellar door is open Wednesday-Sunday for experiences, tastings, and a light lunch. Book a distillery tour via our website, sip seasonal cocktails while overlooking the fields, and discover a new appreciation for rum and gin with a tasting paddle.
We do have a small food menu, so you can nibble while you sip. View the menu online.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Our food was cold when it arrived and the chicken was dry. The dips were unappealing, there was no music.
However, our drinks were lovely and the staff were friendly.
All food was great, lamb cutlets amazing, prawns exceptional
Great venue ,really enjoyed our lunch at Husk. Service was excellent.
Being a local I bring my visitors to Husk on a regular basis as it really is a special place to visit. They thoroughly enjoyed the food, cocktails and tasting paddles. It is so much better now you have great lunch choices as well, catering for vegans, GF as well as mainstream.
Fabulous place! Delicious food and cocktails in a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back!
It was great. Would highly recommend. Drinks and food were delicious, staff were very helpful and friendly
Beautiful food and a lovely outlook. The gin tasting paddle was very tasty. The only negative was the lack of any childs menu, not even a bowl of chips.
Great food, great weather, nice grounds to enjoy it all.
Great ambience & we enjoyed the food. I am aware it is a distillery but wine can enhance a meal.A staff
member said that their liquor licence forbids wine sale. Is it not possible to vary the liquor licence?
Great place with a lovely view! Table service wasn’t amazing due to it being so busy. Also menu isn’t great for young kids. Would definitely go back though
Great afternoon. Not much choice for kids unfortunately. Chips were very fatty. Prawns were awesome. Overall worth a visit.
Great location but food could be a little more simple
Pleasure as always, even though it was rainy and cloudy we still had an amazing time. Stayed warm and didn’t get wet so don’t let the winter weather put you off
Found to be a very nice location and excellent service . Would recommend maybe slight change to menu . Honestly while drinking some amazing drinks felt like a genuine wood fire pizza would be nice to menu .. just a suggestion.
Thanks Guys for a great day
Great family day out, plenty of room for the children to play and the food was great
Beautiful venue and so tranquil.
Service was great and food was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Beautiful location, excellent service! Thanks so much for a fabulous lunch.
It was a great place. Food menu just needs more options.
Fabulous lunch spot on a glorious sunny afternoon. Food was very tasty, great range of cocktails - would ideally like a wine option too but no issue, and we plan to return with a group
Husk is always lovely. View to die for, great drinks and I ate for the first time. Everyone liked their meal.
Amazing experience! Beautiful weather to sit outside and enjoy the scenery!
Wonderful setting wuth helpful vibrant staff, great food and of course the drinks are sublime.
I love coming to Husk, it’s a beautiful place with good food and amazing service
A fantastic way to see send a Sunday afternoon. Easy drive from Coolangatta and an easy afternoon to be had. Great range of drinks and food to match. Would entirely recommend to anyone in the area.
Stunning spot! The food was not amazing and for what it was we found it a bit pricy but the cocktails were nice and the place is simply beautiful!
Took friends there for our girls weekend. They loved the experience! Always such a pleasure to go to Husk ❤️
Great venue and experience- - this is our fourth visit to the venue but this time seated behind others and close to check in area so not a good view and a ‘busy’ area. Would have preferred to have been closer to the more quiet ambiance. Food and service amazing as always!!
We love going to Husk Distillery for special occasion chill out lunches.👌
Ink in used salmon was tasteless. Everything else was superb
This is a great venue with marvelous service and wonderful food. On the day we were there, the weather was not great so most of the customers including ourselves were in a small area, albeit under cover, so the ambience wasn't as good as we have experienced before. Still the staff did their best to make sure we were looked after and that we enjoyed our time there.
Yum, yum, yum. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to when we left. The staff, venue and food did not disappoint.
I think it’s a must do for the area. The ambience is amazing and they are pursuing great things with their bespoke distillery
Tasting paddles were awesome. Salad was okay - I should have ordered it with the chicken.
Location and service were outstanding.
Despite being wet we had an enjoyable time, we were lucky to be seated inside. food and gin amazing
Staff efficient and friendly
Fabulous- my second visit and there will be a third. Need something to cater for kids (mine are not feral) though as I know mine won’t eat much on the menu. Having said that the chicken skewers are the bomb! The capsicum dip is the best- you can’t not have a Sloe Fizz.
Husk is a hidden gem in the Tweed Valley! Not only are the gin and rum uber cool, but the menu is fresh and healthy and the ambience is very relaxed and green. The picnic option looked very relaxing if your party can sit on a blanket on the grass with a mix of some chairs.
Gorgeous back drop for cocktails & a delish platter, would definitely recommend allocating a few hours to soak it all up.
Lovely service, great food, rum and gin yum
The booking system worked well. Our four guests on a table of six enjoyed the experience. It was our first meal at Husk after visiting once before on a tour. The staff serving us were friendly and accommodating.
Paddles are a great idea to showcase local liquors. We had beautiful weather so outside experience was perfect. We didn't have food but it looked amazing!
