Both our appetizer and entrees were delicious. The cocktails were very tasty. And our server was full of great information about the cocktails and the food.

We stopped in for happy hour with a group, and everything about the experience was top-notch. The service was absolutely dynamite—friendly, attentive, and on point from start to finish. Most of the food was fantastic, with one exception: the “pretzel” and beer cheese appetizer. Our server did give us a heads-up—it’s more like a dense knot of odd bread than an actual pretzel—so we’d recommend skipping that one. That said, the other appetizers more than made up for it. The spinach dip, crispy Brussels sprouts, fried pickles, and bacon bites were all outstanding—flavorful, fresh, and perfect for sharing. Drinks were spot on, well-made and nicely balanced. And the vibe? Just right. Warm, inviting, and stylish without trying too hard. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend it—just maybe pass on the “pretzel.”

This was a wonderful place to bring friends visiting from out of town. They enjoyed seeing the historic Cavalier Hotel.

We ordered the roasted duck, lobster mac and the on smoked old fashion. Everything tasted phenomenal! The noise level was incredibly loud but understandable due to it being Friday night. Would 100% come back for anything meal at the Hunt Room.

Our table was ready upon arrival and we were seated quickly. The waitstaff was attentive and the service prompt. The food was good but I wouldn’t say that it was incredible. The table next to us was very, very loaded and really put a damper on our evening. I cannot hold the staff responsible for other guests but it was the difference between an enjoyable meal and an ok meal. The furnishings and furniture should be upgraded as it’s dated. Overall it was good and may be a better experience on a different night.

What a cute little place located in the Cavalier Hotel. Food was great, drinks were great, and services was amazing. Absolutely recommend. Some of the best Brussel sprouts I've ever had as well and I"m saying that as a vegetarian for 10 years.

I think this is a decent place inside a gorgeous hotel. Definitely feel there are better options especially for the price. My main reason is the service. Bartender was very unprofessional and ill trained in the to serve a$200 bottle of wine

Great atmosphere, the cocktail program is awesome, mostly bourbon/whiskey focused, but the back bar won't disappoint any cocktail aficionados. The staff behind the bar, Matt, James and Dillon are very talented mixologists craft excellent drinks. The food is game and seafood oriented. All of the appetizers and main dishes I have had are well prepared. Recently I had the beet salad and roasted salmon, both great. I can highly recommend the Hunt Room, but make a reservation to make sure you get in.
