   This was our first time at Hugo's, and it was such a disappointment. The sea bass was so bland, the salad had barely any dressing, the clam chowder tasted like nothing but flour and my husband's, Wagyu New York strip was cooked perfectly at medium rate but was not very tender and also lacked flavor. The only thing I did enjoy was the frog legs. The butter sauce was amazing. I read so many reviews and was really looking forward to a great Mother's Day dinner and was left very disappointed.

   Staff was amazing! The managers came by to check on us and our group really loved the food, especially the Dover Sole. Carl, our server, was friendly and helpful!

   Hugo's is always fabulous! The food, the ambiance, and the way they take great care of their guests. Management even comes by frequently just to chat and ensure everything is up to par. If there ever is an issue with anything, it is resolved right away. It's one of the best restaurants in Chicago in our opinion and the food is always so delicious!

   5 stars – for good food, ambiance, service – overall experience. The food especially the clam chowder is so delicious and very tasty. The restaurant is welcoming and cozy. What made it more memorable for us was the amazing experience of us being able to dine in at Winston Churchill’s Booth! Plus, we had a wonderful service from Ulysses. He was attentive and very friendly and made our dinner very nice and relaxing. Thank you so much Ulysses! We also want to say a big Thank you to Nanci Ginsburg. The super nice and amazing manager at Hugo’s Chicago. She made my birthday extra special and memorable. Thank you, Nanci, for all that you did! We will never forget your hospitality. And because of that, we will not only frequent your restaurant – we also told our family and friends, even bosses and coworkers, to go eat/drink at Hugo’s.

   Great experience and good food until we had to wait 30 minutes to close out our bill due to a lot of focus on another table ordering wine

    As always, great service with a menu that perfectly meets the needs of a group business dinner. Hugo's is my "go to" whenever I am in town for business.
