Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House opened its doors in February 1997 in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood, next to sister restaurant Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse. Over Enjoy the city's finest seafood restaurant, Hugo's continues to be the destination for premier east and west coast oysters, crudos, frog legs, lobster and seasonal fish and shellfish, in addition to Gibsons Prime Angus and Gibsons Grassfed Australian steaks. An extensive wine list, classic cocktail list and selection of impressive signature desserts accompany the menu of fresh seafood, steaks and chops. Beautiful private dining and events spaces available. Gluten-free and vegan options available. Happy Hour Sun-Thurs, 3-6pm.

Order a la carte from the regular menu or indulge in Hugo’s Happy Hour specials, including half-priced bottles of wine, oysters, and firecracker shrimp, and enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco for everyone in your group!     LOVED the lobster roll. Mu husband loved his filet, from Gibsons. Service was outstanding. I think Sarah was our server and she was awesome.

    Fantastic experience from start to finish. Very hospitable and service oriented. Table had Frog Legs, Crab Cake, Oysters for starters, Clam chowder, then Chicago Cut Steak, Lobster, Dover Sole, Tempura Shrimp Sushi, Crab Mac n Cheese, and finally 1 piece of key lime pie for dessert (big enough for 4 to share) All very tasty, but the Dover Sole was the star. We were visiting from out of town and cannot wait to come back!

    Always the perfect spot to connect with friends! Happy hour was perfect for us to catch up and make new plans. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food was fabulous! Love of the piano playing as well.

    Always perfect with food, service, everything. Manager checked in on us a couple of times as well. We changed tables, added people to our party at the last minute yet they took care of it all with professionalism and warmth. The staff here from managers, servers, bartenders, bussers all top notch. They make you feel like you are a valued customer every time. They are pros. We of course will be back soon.
