   5 stars – for good food, ambiance, service – overall experience. The food especially the clam chowder is so delicious and very tasty. The restaurant is welcoming and cozy. What made it more memorable for us was the amazing experience of us being able to dine in at Winston Churchill’s Booth! Plus, we had a wonderful service from Ulysses. He was attentive and very friendly and made our dinner very nice and relaxing. Thank you so much Ulysses! We also want to say a big Thank you to Nanci Ginsburg. The super nice and amazing manager at Hugo’s Chicago. She made my birthday extra special and memorable. Thank you, Nanci, for all that you did! We will never forget your hospitality. And because of that, we will not only frequent your restaurant – we also told our family and friends, even bosses and coworkers, to go eat/drink at Hugo’s.

   My friends and I enjoyed every bit of our delicious dinner with our attentive wait staff. We loved our table! We love Hugo's!

   Great experience and good food until we had to wait 30 minutes to close out our bill due to a lot of focus on another table ordering wine

   Great food as always and the service was exceptional! A big shout out to Ulysses who went above and beyond to make my sister’s 60th birthday meal an unforgettable experience!

   Superb service marked this chicago staple yet again. Knowledgeable and efficient staff with a firm grasp on the menu was able to hustle up an Afogato for us for desert to pair with the crème brûlée. From soft, fresh bread with high quality soft butter to the wedge salad with generous helpings of blue cheese to crabs Mac and cheese and perfectly charred brussel sprouts everything was on point. The strip steaks off the Gibson menu were exactly medium rare and nicely crusted. But alas our fish dishes were not the stars. My snapper was overly salted, the halibut lacked flavor (my poached halibut at home much better, sadly) and the brown butter sauce on yet another entree surprisingly bland. Net, the sauce game was weak last night. Maybe just an off night in the kitchen. Other outings have been 5 star.

    Three of us dined and had to change reservation Time twice due to schedule change Two had sea bass which was excellent and I had walleye which was bland and they asked to replace it with branzino but I declined and they comped the entree- Portions are generous and the avocado crab is outstanding it tasted so good!!! We ordered a side of Brussels sprouts which were very tasty too and well prepared!! Our waiter was great and described the menu to a tee!! The restaurant was very busy but everyone was enjoying their meal and the manager stopped by also This is a restaurant that I always try to come to when in Chicago and will continue
