Our group of four had a great experience! Priscilla was our server and provided great recommendations (popcorn chicken and fish tacos), was very attentive, and friendly. The food was amazing, drinks were good, and dessert was definitely worth it!

Absolutely the worse service we’ve had in a Houston in years. Where was Jackson? Where was a manager to talk to? Nowhere or socializing we think. And when we checked into the hostess stand we were told we had the table for 90 minutes. I said I hoped the waiter was good as a joke but he wasn’t. They had at least 10 empty tables when we left last night (Friday reservation at 7:30). So when we left at 9-9:30 there was no reason to have told us to hurry up as they did not need to turn our table in 90 minutes. We were longer than 90 minutes due to slow and forgetful service. Refills on ice tea? Refills on cocktails? Had to ask and then half the time got it wrong. Don’t bother with this place. We never will again. Too many better choices all around town.

I went here for dinner with a friend, and we had a great time. Our server was Pricilla, phenomenal! She gave us the best food recommendations and answered all our questions with ease. Please ask for her when you go. 10/10

First visit to Hudson House. Went with a friend. I had the Maple plank salmon but substituted the skinny fries for the broccoli since I avoid lemon, parmesan cheese and broccoli. Cooked medium with a soy glaze. It was excellent. I took half of the salmon home for dinner. My friend ordered the pan seared redfish and though it says lightly blackened she thought the outside was a bit hard but the flavor was good. The place filled up after we arrived so the noise level went up but wasn't too loud.

Very lively atmosphere. We had several appetizers and martinis to start and everything was excellent. Out of the four entrees ordered (fish tacos, red fish and burgers)everyone agreed that the burgers were the best. They are known for their smash burgers. We also ordered the truffle fries- one order had a hair in it which is why I gave 3 stars. The food was really excellent but the hair in fries is not something you want to see when dining out. The server did take the fries off the bill but didn’t send a manager over to say anything or apologize. With all the wonderful restaurants in Houston I will most likely choose somewhere else to dine based on my experience.

Food is delicious but some service issues at the bar. Need to train more on serving food at the bar, not just making drinks.

Amazing first experience at Hudson House! The service was great, Asia was awesome. The food was delicious, oysters, rainbow roll and salads, and drinks were a perfect combo. I can’t wait to come back!
