This was our first visit. We chose to go to lunch as we heard from others that it has a lovely view. The view was indeed lovely but most importantly the food and service were superior. Our waitress, Courtney, was one of the best servers we have encountered on Kauai. She addressed every question about the menu thoroughly. During our lunch she was attentive but not obtrusive. We chose to share the mozzarella and mango appetizer - it was delicious. My spouse chose the snapper fish and chips. It was perfectly fried. The fries were also textbook perfect. I had the ahi tacos. The ahi was offered as either medium well or seared; I offered the medium well. Absolutely delicious. Very good selection of draft beers. We will definitely return for an early diner so we can once again enjoy the view with our food.

Truly one of the the most wonderful dining experiences ever. I have been blessed to dine at some fantastic places. This is in the top three. The setting and ambiance was second to none - Absolutely Tremendous! Highly recommended! Excellent food. Excellent drinks. Outstanding service! Steve and Don were amazing!!

We have eaten at Hualani's dozens of times since they opened. It's always been wonderful in every way. Yesterday was a total disappointment in every way. Our usual server, Mark, was not there. He knows our names and our orders. Asher seemed very new and did not get much right at all. Our beers were very warm. He had to be asked for water and iced tea refills. With only a four top, he did not remember who ordered anything from drinks to desserts. I almost always order the ahi sashimi. Sadly, the portion size has been decreased greatly. The overlapping pieces which filled the plate are now almost half the original amount and laid flat across the same plate. I never got my chopsticks I requested. Our friends orders were totally messed up in everyway . When finally addressed after a 20 minutes wait, , the coleslaw was a tablespoon full and the plate was very sad. I'm not sure what was so hard about the specific order. My standard order of lava cake is now half the original size. He couldn't get the bill right. He was nice and hopefully that was his first day. I'm not sure what we will do next as it's our standard meeting place with our friends from Kaleheo as we drive from the No Shore. But the view is still beautiful.

Was here last in 2023 and looked forward to coming back. had delicious cocktail with fruit and nutmeg that was wonderful. all the fish were excellent, from the miso black cod to the ono. Look forward to coming back again. one of my best meals on the island.
