House of Cards is Nashville’s most unique dining and entertainment experience. Located underground in a 10,000 sq. ft space, the venue offers an evening for guests unlike any other in the history of the South.
​House of Cards celebrates the art of magic, classic American cuisine and fine hand-crafted cocktails. Guests are encouraged to explore the dining room to enjoy the rare collections and be entertained by some of America’s top magicians. Complimentary tickets to magic performances in the showroom are included with purchase of a dinner entrée. Please, no outside bottles.

Reservations for parties of 6 or less can be made 14 days in advance through OpenTable. For parties of 7-12, please reserve 17 days in advance by emailing reservations@hocnashville.com.

Dress code strictly enforced. For dress code details, visit HOCNashville.com/reservations. No photography inside the restaurant. Reservations encouraged. Walk-ins welcome subject to availability and dress code.

    The food was good but bot great, especially for the price. Kevin was the best. We have been to HOC a few times before and Kevin was hands down the most entertaining and fun close up magician we have seen there. We would come back just to see him.

    The card magic is absolutely mindboggling. You are literally sitting next to the magician as he does the card tricks. The show was also entertaining.

    I appreciate going out to dinner and everyone is dressed to the nines! When you make a reservation make sure to check the dress code. Words don’t explain how unique this place is from the menu to the magic shows (literally). Food is incredible, ask for Jamie, he is the best wait staff!! He makes every moment count. It’s a hidden treasure in the basement of Johnny Cash Museum. Add it to your bucket list.

    When this restaurant opened several years ago, our daughter was so disappointed that she was not old enough to dine there. Over the years, my husband and I have been many times, and last night we celebrated her 21st birthday with HOC! The wait staff made it so special, and she was thrilled. Nothing else like this in Nashville, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone! On my wish list for the future- maybe a duck dish or something in the fowl category would be nice! Thank you, HOC!

    Everyone in our party got something different and we were all extremely pleased with everything. The drinks were great..especially the Houdini Martini! All food was very tasty and seasoned well...and the creme brulee strawberry cheesecake was life changing! Highly recommend!

    Not for someone trying to pinch pennies as it is very expensive. The food, drinks, and service were exceptional. Atmosphere was magical! The formal dress requirement added to the mystic of the evening. The magicians did a wonderful job including everyone and the show was amazing.

    We had the best time at House of Cards! Our server Matthew was absolutely phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our random questions about the food and the establishment itself. The food was incredible and everything we ordered was recommended by Matthew and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be going back again in the future!

    Magical ambiance, amazing close-up magic and show, friendly and professional world-class service (literally). Parking, printed photo, everything included in the cost of the meal, which is excellent quality and not an afterthought. Expect amazing hospitality for your evening, and the perfect setting for a date night!

    It had to be the absolute best meal I’ve had in years. The fillet mignon melts in your mouth. The rack of lamb was perfection. The sides and salads are big enough to share. And then of course the entertainment is phenomenal.

    Experience is incredible, food could be better. Honestly, you don’t go here for the food, purely go for the atmosphere and the entertainment. The shows are excellent! The ambience is incredible! Well done in both those aspects. The food could use some help, especially for the price. Although, you have to understand that the food is price that high because you’re not buying a ticket for the show. Plan on spending about three hours there. Between the three magic shows and dinner. You must a minimum order an entree, which will cost you at minimum $50 per person. (Only one option under $50, a pasta dish) Get an early reservation so you can spend time watching the other magicians and not feel rushed to the show.

    My husband and I went to the House of Cards to celebrate our anniversary. What a great night! The food and the service were OUTSTANDING! The magicians were the icing on the cake. They amazed me with every trick and really made it a memorable evening. I loved every minute!

    Where we were seated was freezing cold. For the price , the food was really bland. Server would only take one credit card, and which made it super awkward for all guests.
