Love the food and music!!!
My daughter and I both ordered “The Yardbird”. The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious and the fries were the best! The portions were generous and impossible to finish. I highly recommend!
We had a blast! Music, crowd and food were great!!
Everything was great, but the live music was too loud for the space. You couldn’t talk.
It was my birthday and I lived this place! The live band was everything!
Waited over 20 minutes for our server to take our drink order. He was not very friendly and did not engage with us, He asked if it was our first time visiting and it was when we told him his response was "oh cool". We both ordered Cajun chicken pasta, it arrived cold on top but warmer when you got to the bottom of the plate. It was minced chicken meat which seems to be dark meat, didn't taste or appear to be blackened. I found a piece of bone in my chicken. Also was tomato pieces in the dish that were not advertised as being in it.
Our waitress Amy was terrific and the service fast and extremely well done. Our waitress checked back frequently to make sure we were happy and the food was delicious
We were celebrating my sister's 55th birthday. The entertainment here was awesome!!! The drinks were good but not strong enough for me. The food was horrible!!!! Everything we tasted was either not seasoned well or not seasoned at all!! We had wings (okay), salmon (not seasoned) w/creamed style corn (watery, not seasoned), chicken, mashed potatoes (clumps of huge potatoes) w/gravy (jelled, lukewarm), baked beans (good). The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and was eager to help us rectify the situation so she informed the manager who was equally considerate and accommodating. Kudos to them both!!!
If it had not been for the awesome band we listened to after our meal, the evening would have been a complete failure!! I would recommend this place for music but not for food. Go there for the music but eat elsewhere!!
Food here is just okay. My husband ordered the Salmon, daughter Pasta and I ordered shrimp and grits. We all found food not very flavorful.
Waitress was wonderful and helpful with the menu. Jambalaya was perfect with a little bit of heat.
Bread pudding was fantastic!
Overall the food and service was very good. Of note the gumbo and ribs were terrific. We had a wonderful server. The wine list was lacking and food slow to come out.
We had the best dinner. Our waitress was amazing!
The restaurant has an energetic, cool vibe and great music playing inside and out on the patio deck. Great burgers and fries. We love coming here in the summer.
Great atmosphere and our waitress provided plenty of background information regarding the history of the restaurant. Food was fantastic and our overall experience was outstanding.
The service was EXCELLENT and the food was awesome. The drinks were okay but not great, although they did replace my fiance's drink at no charge without even requesting that. I love a place that goes above and beyond to please the customers!!!
Food came out Luke warm but was fixed. Beer inside was $5 we walked outside to back bar and smaller glass of draft was $9. Like the atmosphere. Please bring back gospel brunch.
Wasn't crazy about food and service was lackluster. For $120 I just expected better. Know better next time.
The food and service was awesome. Enjoyed the live music. Thank you for rounding out our family
vacation with this great experience.
Wonderful experience. Band was phenomenal. Drinks decent. Server on the deck was great. Server at dinner was great initially, but things went a little left with her outspokenness 🤦🏾♀️ Manager took good care of our party. Overall, had a great time and will definitely return on my next visit to Myrtle Beach.
Birthday/listen to the band paperwork
Service was horrible. The Cajun chicken pasta was bland and inedible/sent it back and waited 30 minutes for a replacement meal while the other three people in my party ate their meals. The manager was unapologetic and didn’t offer anything for our miserable experience. Trust me, go to The Deck for music and drinks and eat elsewhere beforehand
The food was amazing. The decor was very interesting with lots of folk art. Loved the outside deck with live music.
Great service by Tim and excellent food! My little boy and I enjoyed it so much we're going back tonight!
The band was very good. The salmon was ok not very spicy for blackened
Do much on the feed menu in and it wasn't that great
Had a great time at the house of blues trying to go back before I leave myrtle beach !
Journey was a great server!! The Cajun chicken pasta is amazing, and the drinks were good too! Also had really good music playing!
Food was excellent and service was excellent. Gumbo and cornbread are beyond good. Cajun pasta was delicious with a capital D. Jambalaya was also delicious. Management checked to be sure everything was good. Patio entertainment was 👍🏾👍🏾
Lakeida was a great waitress. Great music and atmosphere. The ceiling is ridiculously cool. Food was very good, especially the gumbo.
Although we showed up early for our 8 o’clock reservation we had to wait until 820 to get a table. No problem, they were busy. I ordered nachos as an appetizer. The waiter came back and said they were out of nachos. I ordered grilled salmon for my main entrée. The waiter came back and said they were out of salmon. I had a brisket sandwich. The sauce was good but the meat was tough and fatty.
Of the free entertainment was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the ice tea was just like homemade loved it. I will definitely be visiting again!
Love this place! It was a lot of fun. Great food, service and live music
Food was great! Learned a lot of great history. Also, received free tickets to the honor of prince concert! I had a wonderful time. Tim was a great waiter as well!
Our waiter was very attentive and the food couldn't have been better!
Very relaxed atmosphere. Good food and drinks. A little slow on service but lots to look at and listen to as you wait.
My friends and I went here to eat before a concert (Jeezy). First we went into the gift shop and was greeted by Kim😊. She is amazing and she had great conversation. We joked that we could’ve stayed over there talking to her if we knew we had to wait for our reservation time. Our server was Lydia. She was great! The food was delicious! We added the gumbo to our meals, it was tasty and we also had the Voodoo shrimp appetizer, that was delicious as well. I wish we had this place closer to where I live. I loved the food and the way the place looks. If I ever come back to Myrtle beach, for sure I will be returning to this restaurant!
Great food, awesome staff and fabulous experience
My family and I had a great time. Wonderful food and atmosphere.
Was seated promptly on arrival, service was friendly and quick. Seating capacity was reduced due staffing shortages (everywhere these days) but staff on hand was friendly and working hard. Food was good, blackened Salmon was reported as very good and not overly spicy. Beer / drink prices are a bit high, but expected for short season.
