Shrimp and Grits
our riff on the classic. sautéed shrimp in chipotle cream sauce with chives, on a crispy cotija cheese grit cake
Baby Back Ribs
BBQ beans, slaw, jalapeño-cheese cornbread. Available in half rack or full rack.
sautéed shrimp in an Abita Amber beer reduction sauce, served over jalapeño-cheese cornbread
Food was great and service was spectacular.
Exceptional good and service! Fun atmosphere but not too loud.
Good, salmon was dry but they brought me a delicious sauce. The band that night was a special bonus.
Awesome experience. Can’t wait to visit again. Excellent service
Love the live band atmosphere. Drinks were pricey yet watered down. And food was overpriced for quality.
Chose this unique place while vacationing in Myrtle Beach for my birthday. Excellent choice! Our server/Bartender Talisa was awesome, from the cocktails to being sure our meal was a 10. She also showed me the bullet holes in the magnificent bar from Chicago and Capones days, unforgettable!! The shrimp and grits a spectacular spin and divine, NOLA style. The ambience also a 10 and loved the art exhibits. Best place here in my opinion.
Friendly service, great food, beautiful artwork. If you like music noise leave was perfect. Had a great time.
The food was excellent, the service was excellent, band at outside patio were excellent.
Always a treat
I like the house of blues! Food pretty good and service is quick! U. Can listen to band out back! Very nice!
We loved dining at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach. Our waitress was great as was the food. We enjoyed the music and on our way out stopped in and bought a couple of tee shirts in the fun shop. I highly recommend House of Blues!
I made reservations for 5:45pm as the area was very crowded and I wanted to ensure we were able to get a table. The restaurant opened at 5pm and we arrived early, there wasn't too many people there and only one group of 3 waiting to be seated. we were shown to a table very quickly, even before our reservation time. The waitress was very polite and brought our drink order promptly. I ordered the ribs, and was informed that they had just ran out of ribs. this was 35 minutes after opening. I looked around, expecting to see everyone else having ribs, but to my surprise, I didn't see anyone having ribs. I was very disappointed after having waited 2 years to get back to Myrtle Beach which is the closest HOB restaurant.
My first time attending was beyond my expectations. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the live band Soultriii on the Deck was just what I needed to help celebrate my birthday vacation ! I will be returning on our next venture. Thank you HOB.
Great server. We loved our pics taken of our family. Food was good. Nice night out.
Everyone from the bartender to the hostess to our waitress Nikki to the manager were beyond nice and all offered a tidbit of history and background of the House of Blues.
They were out of our first choice on the menu and had to pick out second choice which was shrimp and grits and the jambalaya. We loved both and and had the BBQ nachos that were excellent as well. The decor was fun and I took pics of the billet holes in Al Capone bar.
Everything we wanted was out of stock. Had to settled for dry fish. My daughter used to love their Cajun Chicken pasta. Completely different recipe and watery sauce. Was hoping to get the brisket they’re known for and that I love. They don’t offer it anymore. Spent a fortune for two people and was completely and utterly disappointed.
So glad they are back up and running. Such a cool spot !
House of Blues highly recommended! Service was great! Our waiter was awesome! Told us the history of the restaurant and gave us a tour! The manager was very kind as well! She checked on us as well! I will be back
Delicious Food! Great Atmosphere! Cool items with rock history and amazing service! Our waiter was so attentive!!!
The food was very good with lots of good flavor!! The bread pudding is the best I’ve ever had!! Our waitress Nicki was spectacular!
Food was good. Atmosphere fine. Meat in jambalaya a little dry. Wish restaurant patrons could experience the live music.
We have been coming to this location, while on vacation, since 1993. We had to send back the drink special cocktails, because they were awful. The wait staff was polite, but for the restaurant being well under fifty percent full, the wait time was very long. The food was good but very over priced for what we had. We have always loved the ambience and the construction of the building, but were disappointed in our overall experience.
I had been several times in the past and loved it and returned after years and years Sunday night and the food is still as good as it used to be. THe juicy lucy flavors worked so well togehter
Everything was very good - service was outstanding and food was fairly quick coming from the kitchen. We made a reservation so no wait for us :) . They just opened back up from Covid when we went (5/8/21) and they are using a limited menu (please check before going if you are really set on one dish to make sure they have it). They had enough variety that was satisfying for all in our party. Shrimp and grits were great. Tables far enough apart that you didn't feel crowded. PLEASE NOTE: It's hard to find the restaurant - so here's a suggestion - enter Barefoot at Alabama Theater Entrance and go back like you are going to the theater steps. Make a right and that's the House of Blue's parking lot. Enter in by the Gear Shop (there's a pathway going to a side entrance under the top balcony. Super confusing to find the entrance.
Had a lot of good food, drinks and fun. Band and bar outside did a great job finishing off a great night
The menu was reduced because of COVID but still good. The brisket in the sandwich was really tender and flavorful. The bbq chicken salad was good as well.
Very good food and the waitress was great. The music was great.
Made a reservation on open table. Got to the restaurant and it was closed. Showed open on open table.
It was great

Great place. Band was good and drinks were cold
Awesome! Thank you for visiting and we looking forward to seeing you again!
The staff was awesome and the food was delicious! Only negative thing we can think of is that their Moscow mule was 75% ice and very little drink for the price, otherwise, it was amazing!!

This was such an amazing place for date night! We had such a good time the food was great and our server Greg was even better. We loved everything about it. They even practiced social distance so I felt comfortable.

With Covid-19, I felt very safe eating there. Service was great. The food and drink was perfect. We were not sure if we were going to go there because my wife does not like spicy food but she enjoyed her food. Also had fun in the shop. Wish we could have stayed for the band but had to get home. Maybe next time.
Thank you for taking the time to write you r review and for the 5 stars! You will definitely have to stay for the Live Music next time! See you soon!
