   Had a very nice dinner before the show. Loved the drinks, voodoo shrimp, jalapeño cornbread, Brussels Sprouts and yardbird chicken sandwich. The ribs were not our favorite. Not very meaty and weren’t very tender. There are plenty of great menu choices, so it won’t stop us from coming again. Service was excellent.

   We enjoyed our experience at The House of Blues Houston. The only complaint was that the ribs were a little tough. Everything else was great and delicious. Our server Jazmin was kind and courteous.

   We came to HOB to have an enjoyable night out with some love music. The food was tasty, the music was fantastic, but as it was a chilly night, the dining room was slightly cold. Every time someone opened the door, a blast of cold air came into the room. This did not spoil the night, but it would have been nicer to have the dining room warmer. Every item I have tasted at the HOB has been fantastic and I will be back on another Friday night again soon.

    The staff was incredibly slow. My friend’s glass of water shattered before she even took a sip and the staff didn’t really help wipe it up. There were not napkins/utensils. No crackers or bread for the gumbo appetizer? Not impressed and won’t be returning…

    We had a reservation but were told to wait even though there were a lot of open tables. We we’re finally given a high top table in the bar area. The waitress ignored us for 10 minutes before she finally brought a menu. We had to wait another 10 minutes before she came to take our order. The food arrived hot and promptly and that was good. We had to get a set-up from the hostess and I had to ask for water. My partner ordered unsweetened tea but the waitress brought sweetened tea. After dinner, the waitress ignored us while she bussed tables instead of bringing our check. We tried to use a gift card and it took another 5 minutes for her to come tell me it didn’t work. That was fine-she had my credit card and we just wanted to get out of there as we had tickets to the show upstairs. What a hassle. I will never go there again for food.

    We went in. Greeted immediately and seated just as fast. Love the ambiance here. There was a couple of guitarists performing. The volumes was perfect. The drinks were excellent. The food was good. The service was speedy and attentive. Overall, a nice experience.

    8 people at my event ordered gumbo and was not happy. My BBQ Burgers served with burnt bacon and crispy bacon. Why would your cook think to serve burnt food When i tasted the gumbo its exactly how it tasted it to me, burnt 🤔

    Food was lovely. Little disappointed in the service. Wa differed our bill before being asked if we wanted desserts. No asking if we wanted more drinks. It wa alike they were in a hurry to get us out. Place was empty and could have made more $$$ by offering us further drinks. Loved my dinner though!! Also shop was closed. Would Of spent money there as well if opened. Seemed strange for a Saturday night

    So unbearably loud we couldn't hold a conversation - our beverages were watered down and server made us feel like we were an inconvenience. I have suggested HOB for multiple nights out and finally got my friends to go, only for everyone to say they wouldn't be back.

    Although the service and food were good I don't think this restaurant is very well managed. The bartender was obviously backed up and no one was jumping in to help her. There weren't even a lot of people in the restaurant, but it took us a while to get her drinks. I felt that the manager was just standing around. This place need some work, I think it could be great with some improvements.

    Very loud but we went there for a concert. From the venue there is an elevator to the restaurant which made it very easy to get more substantial food then what a venue has to offer. It’s wasn’t amazing but good. Overall a fun night at venue and restaurant.

    Went to the House of Blues expecting some good blues. No Blues to be found here. Amateur ensemble played nothing close to blues. Good decent, but drinks expensive. Nice ambiance.

    Food was pretty good, although a little pricey, and alcohol was definitely overpriced...$9 for a beer! Enjoyed the live music, however the service was bad, our waitress pretty much ignored our table once the food came.

    We sat for over 20 mins without anyone coming by our table to check in with us/offer water/get an order, etc. Food was good and the live music ambiance was nice—just would have appreciated some acknowledgement we were there, even if the server was busy with other tables.

    We booked two 6 tops for a bachelorette party as Open Table only allowed us to book a maximum of 6 people online. I tried calling the restaurant the day prior to see if we could combine the two tables into one 12 top but could not get through to a live human. Every time I called, there was a recording and no option to leave a message. So a few of us went early to speak to the hostess and they were able to accommodate us. It would have been nice to speak to a person about this prior to the day of the reservation, but that did not seem to be an option. Good food and fun ambience!

    Delicious Cobb Salad with lots of toppings! Avocado, hard boiled eggs, bacon, blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing. Fantastic grilled chicken! Super good!

    We loved our seats, in view of the house band (which was awesome). Our service was terrific. The waiter was attentive but not obtrusive. Our food was FABULOUS. We ate burgers that were superb. Even the french fries were delicious.

    Always a nice atmosphere at HOBs with the house bands playing and people enjoying themselves. I wish the menu had better & more selections to offer for dinner. Overall a pleasant time.
