Houlihan's - Olathe
We go every a Tuesday evening with our friends and get the 1/2 price wine. We always have a great time.
Normally great food. Tonight food arrived cool. They redid but left off seasoning do they were bland. Had a movie so ate them anyway.
Not quite as good as Houlihan’s usual.
I would not recommend this location. I have given them chance after chance after chance, and the kitchen just can't figure out how to get 2 entrees out and hot at the same time. Virtually every time we visit this restaurant one of our entrees is cold. About the only thing good about this location is a service by the name of Hannah. If you go to this restaurant and are there Wed - Sat, be sure and ask for Hannah, you won't be disappointed. Other servers are average at best, and don't really care about resolving issues. Yes this last time we received our dinner comped.
We waited about 40 min for our food to come out. Mashed potatoes were cold, didn’t have bbq sauce on my burger like it was supposed to and the waitress said “here’s part of your food, I was tired of waiting on your fries”. My fries came out a few later.
The steak was overcooked, but the soup was perfect and everything else was great. The manager offered to replace the steak, but our daughter didn't want to wait. Overall this Houlihan's is a great place to eat and it is always packed. That should tell you something.
Reservation are homered and food is good. Was busy and we had a 6 pm reservation and was seated at 6 good deal.
It was great
Our food took over an hour to arrive. Our appetizer was cold, and we had to ask for drinks. Didn't used to be like that. We took friends to dinner. I 🙄
We love that sides can be switched out. My husband is a diabetic & avoids carbs. The mashed cauliflower option is scrumptious.
We were celebrating office birthdays and had great service from Brad. Food very good and fast!
I dine there often and always e joy the food, atmosphere and the attentive wait staff.
Overall a good experience, good value for the money.
I’ve been a patron of Houlihans for several years unfortunately this visit was not the best. You could see the we’re not enough servers and our wait for food after our order was quite a while. I’ve notice the service is going down for not only this location but for other locations as well. Hope this is not a sign of closures.
Service was excellent and the char crusted Ahi tuna was excellent.
Best happy hour in town
It was incredibly loud. We had a hard time hearing each other talk.
Our server, Tito (I think), was great, and the food was good once the kitchen got it as ordered. Unfortunately, though, my grilled asparagus didn't see near enough of the grill. It wasn't even warm and was still completely raw. Not my favorite.
Our server Dustin was very attentive and took great care of us!!
Highly recommend the pre-fix dinner. We had the stuffed mushrooms (always a treat), the meatloaf, sedona shrimp pasta, vanilla bean cheesecake, and creme brulee (the brownie batter cake was sold out). All were seriously delicious.
Our server answered all our questions on the new menu, kept our water glasses filled, and was very friendly. We'll be back!
Good food and service
Waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, the seasonal menu had interesting choices of food and cocktails. We ate outdoors as the weather was uncommonly pleasant.
We stopped by for the Happy Hour prior to going to a movie. The food was good, however the amount of food for the $5.00 was pretty small. Our waiter was very nice, however the service was VERY SLOW for no busier than they were. We ordered 3 appetizers and it took over 25 minutes for them to come out. He never checked back as the patio did start to fill up more and they were either understaffed for waiters or in the kitchen. We wanted to order another appetizer because we were still hungry, but we knew that it would never come out on time. :-(
25 minutes exactly to get a drink from the time we ordered. No apologies. Food portions small. Door squeaks obnoxiously loud every time it is opened. Manager should notice these things. We never saw one
Great service and delicious food; energetic environment
Food and service was awesome! Was busy busy and the noise level was high with various conversations.
Wait staff were very attentive and pleasant, food was good. Good atmosphere for dinner
It was a good meal. Food was tasty and well prepared. Bar service was a bit slow but overall we’ll be back
Always order sand salad. Nothing like it always is
Everything was great except you were out of stock of the vegetarian burger that our guest had been looking forward to. It was part of why we chose your restaurant.
Our visits have always included great food and exceptional service. We like that it is in our city and do not have to battle traffic nor pay for parking. I especially like the ability to pre-register our dining time.
The food was really good. It was a nice evening so we chose to sit on the patio.
The tomato bisque is AMAZING! If you get it ALWAYS ask for extra cheese fritters. They’re free and once you’ve tasted them with the soup, you’ll understand why. If you order the endless soup and salad for $9.95 you’ll be so happy you did, because the soup is very filling. Service was great and well worth the price for the food received.
I will still recommend this location because it’s my favorite . I just don’t know what happened this night . My service was bad , server had a lack of priority to wait on us and she rather to focus her time on doing her side work .
Burger was over-cooked and underwhelming. Most bars have a better burger. The Steak on the Ramen bowl was great, but the ramen was bland and we found it unusual that is didn't contain any broth. My guest enjoyed the So Cal Fish tacos. The high point was the avocado toast appetizer...which was VERY good.
Very good. Waiter was outstanding
Good food, good service, great price and nice atmosphere. Used the price fixe menu.
As a life long resident of the metro area I have dined at Houlihans many times. Every previous experience was great, it is hard for me to believe they have become so bad as far as their food is concerned. On this occasion I ordered the French dip sandwich . The sandwich I was served was undoubtedly the worst I have ever had, period. The "roast beef " was obviously precooked and presliced somewhere far away. It had the texture, unnatural color, odd shape and paper thinness of a lunch meat you would buy in a grocery store, and not in the deli but the prepackaged processed meat products. And even with the cheap low quality meat there were only five slices total on the sandwich. Poor quakity and poor value are not a good combination and nothing I would have ever expected from Houlihans.......lesson learned.
We asked for a table in a relatively quiet area, and it was just perfect!
