San Lorenzo is one of New Orleans best new restaurants for 2021. Set in a beautiful location with a well thought out menu. Food is creative, perfectly prepared and the service is professional. I highly recommend a dining experience.
Great thanksgiving option
The ambiance and location are really hard to beat. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and the restaurant is the same. The menu, however, is a bit small, especially if you have someone who is celiac (though, to be fair, it is an Italian restaurant). Still, the staff were very accommodating. The food was good but not great, though good enough to be a great spring point for a beautiful walk down Magazine.
Fabulous food in a very chic property.
My new favorite late lunch spot! Dinner is also amazing...
Who knew you could take a club sandwich to the next level? Innovative food, relaxing atmosphere, great service.
Best hidden secret in New Orleans! Cannot rave enough about how everything was. Truthfully feel guilty leaving a good review because I’d rather this place stay a secret. Everything was amazing and I cannot wait to go back again soon!!!!!!!!
This was a hidden gem. The inside seemed a bit loud, but my girlfriend and I had an intimate table outside and it was perfect. The food was some of the best I've had in the city. The server was attentive, knowledgeable and personable. The atmosphere was perfect for a special event. Don't miss out on getting a reservation here.
My second trip to San Lorenzo and it did not disappoint! I am determined to try everything on the menu.
Great food, gracious wait staff, warm ambiance expressed in the beautiful St. Vincent Hotel. It was a fine dining experience.
We love the hotel St Vincent and the restaurant San Lorenzo. The food is excellent.
Truffle fries, Caesar salad, Eggs Florentine, Carbonara all were great for brunch. We were celebrating our anniversary and sadly, couldn't hear each other across our table for two.
What a beautiful renovation. Great ambience, great service, excellent food. Would highly recommend this place. It also had adequate parking.
Everything we tasted was amazing. Great service and ambiance
Very good food. Everything we ate was delicious. We will return.
Only thing that would make it better was is they heated the bread. That would put it over the top.
Lovely setting with Friendly staff . We were very happy to have choices of morning speciality drinks. And the food was so tasteful. We left happy 😊
The service was horrible and the food was below average. And the the General Manager DID NOT CARE!
This is an outstanding new venue for New Orleans. Checks all of the boxes, from ambiance to service and culinary excellence. Looking forward to my next visit.
Only entree options were fish and pork chops. Not exactly what I was expecting
Table locations are too tight on the deuces. Plan to enjoy your neighbor. Which for us was fine as couple adjacent was nice. But with covid I prefer some space. Spice on food is over elevated in most dishes. When were able to get japolenoes removed on the ink squid pasta dish and I can say 100% this dish was devine. I loved it. You could then taste the smoothness and lightness of the uni and lump crab meat and the mild ink taste in the pasta. So ask them to remove the japolenoes. Desserts were heavenly. Try the Pavlova it was amazing. Bread that accompanied dinner was fresh and delecious.
Love the ambiance. Our waitress was extremely nice. Very slow with the food. There were only people at two tables. Eggs way over cooked. Charged for syrup that I never asked for in a latte. I am hoping since this place is new they
We had a wonderful experience! We greatly enjoyed our meal and the lobster pasta was amazing!
The raw oysters are excellent. The basic green salad was so fresh and good. Simple but outstanding. Bread plate was so tasty. The clams with linguine were bland. Maybe that is how it is served in other areas of the country but in New Orleans we like a lot of flavor. They need to season the dish up. Excellent service and ambience. Overall very good.
The food was very good from the Caesar salad to both our entrees ( lobster bucatini and Trout piccata). The place was very nice as well. We’d definitely go back to try some of the other dishes
Excellent all round - good wine list and parking as well.
The atmosphere was perfect, food was delicious z. Will come back again.
Love this place!
I loved the ambiance. I felt the energy.
I really didn’t like the prices.
Linguine and clams were superb !
Great food and service.
We had a fantastic dinner! The food and service was fantastic.
Was expecting much more from the food. Both entrees and starters were a solid good, but not worth what we paid as these dishes could probably be made better at home. Ambiance is quiet and nice and on the super positive, the cocktails were superb. I think they need to elevate the flavor of the dishes or lower their prices- all in all was underwhelmed in general, and even more so given the $200 price tag for our meals and drinks. Give the restaurant a pass, but hit the bar/lounge for good and inventive classic cocktails.
I consider myself a local food snob and this place absolutely delivered. We ate outside for lunch on the porch and everything we ordered (bread, crudo, Creste Di Gallo pasta and Filet) was divine! The ambience was perfect.
Wonderful experience! Food and service are absolutely perfect.
Love the San Lorenzo! Been a few times now and look forward to going back again soon.
went there for a birthday. food and service were excellent. it being inside the st vincent hotel was very nice. couldn’t ask for a better experience. i will be going back in the future and i would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
This is a gourmet restaurant. The food is outstanding. We sat outside on the porch. It was a very pleasant setting. Service was very good.
Great food, atmosphere, and service.
Overpriced for what is offered. $38.00 pasta dish with lobster meat still in the claws (no tail meat and for the price I do not expect to work for my meal). The shrimp risotto was bland and both dishes would have benefited from grated cheese. The service was friendly and professional and the ambiance was excellent, but the overhead music loud and not appropriate for the space. Would return sometime to try other offerings but it will not be soon. I booked and disclosed my wife’s birthday but no acknowledgement.
