We had a wonderful time. Delicious food and drink. Great server. A bit loud but still fun.

We’ve eaten here a few times and enjoyed it but this was a very disappointing experience. Although the dining room was sparsely occupied, service was slow and borderline unfriendly. As a server for many years, I understand there are tough days, but this attitude detracted from our birthday celebration. (Also, why ask if you’re celebrating a special event in the reservation, just to totally ignore that event). Unfortunately, the food did not save the day as it was bland and forgettable, and overpriced. I seldom write bad reviews but this was an expensive disappointment.

We had a great experience at Steak Night at San Lorenzo. The music and ambiance made us feel like we were on an island in the Caribbean. The cost was $75 for a 3 course meal which included red or white wine. I had the wedge salad for appetizer and Ribeye steak and wedge Potatoes. I added crabmeat with Bernaise sauce to my ribeye. Everything was flavorful. Dessert was good too. Service was great and music set the tone. We went on the last night for steak night but I hope they bring it back soon.

We went early for Mother’s Day to beat the crowd. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I had stayed there before renovations and couldn’t believe how beautiful they made the place. I ordered the eggs Florentine but they were out of crabmeat and couldn’t make it, so I ordered the avocado croissant instead. It was tasty but nothing spectacular. I also ordered one of the fresh squeezed juices and never received it. Besides those two hiccups, everything else was great. Service is impeccable. We never had an empty plate on our table for more than 30 seconds. The Bloody Mary was delicious. The biscuits were hot, fresh, and flaky. The bacon was nice and crispy. The menu is small so options are limited but we had no issues with the food that was served. I’ll definitely be back for dinner.
