Our waiter Luis was so sweet and attentive. He provided us with wonderful service, and was very knowledgeable of food and spirits. I really like the seating arrangement and the views. A very nice place for a cozy and relaxing meal.
Topside had incredible food and drinks. We loved the staff-they gave wonderful recommendations, were attentive, and even took great photos for us! We loved how laid back and classy the vibe was. We will be back and will bring friends!
Food was a major disappointment for the price, we had 4 different dishes among my group and no one enjoyed their meal, especially given the higher prices. Cocktails and apps were fine and ambiance was great
Always have a great time with a great view!
Limited menu but delicious and beautifully presented. Awesome views of Baltimore! Great drink menu and service. There’s no cappuccino and only one (yummy) dessert option - but a really nice dining experience overall!
Hostess was extremely helpful and courteous, food was excellent. Will be returning.
It was a Fathers Day Present that went amazing.
Would recommend again for any occasion.
They have Ritual zero proof so it made for a great mocktail. Cool space great views. Food was OK, nothing too special
Staff was great, food was great, views were incredible. The only negative was the coffee- the coffee was awful. But would 100% go back, and just forgo that small negative!
Great view, nice ambiance, and the oxtail was amazing. Jada our waitress was great too!
I had a great time. The sea bass was awesome and the cocktails were great. Kudos to the entire staff and compliments to the Chef.
Service was amazing, as always, food is incredible, as usual, no matter what you order. View is also the best in the city, which is only one of the reasons why I not only come back regularly with my other friends who are also regulars, but also bring any family and friends from out of town! Thank you for always providing a wonderful experience for us!
A nice place for Sunday lunch, great views, attentive staff and quick service, and a simple tasty brunch menu. I would definitely go again. Good place for tourists to see across to Butcher’s Hill.
Small menu, but food is top quality. I highly recommend it.
Topside was incredible! We got there a little early, hoping to just have a drink at the bar, and we got seated right away. When you walk in to the dining room you’re immediately blown away by the view from every angle. The drinks were fantastic- my husband and I got the waiter’s recommendations, which were spot on. Our food came out promptly after we ordered and was amazingggg. Easily one of my top 5 meals. We hope to be back!
Ambiance with a view. Very accommodating given the difficult circumstance of no more than 6 to a table - we had 7. Menu was simple but, delicious.
We are guests at the hotel and went for brunch. The view is amazing and the food was great. The menu was limited due to them just reopening. Normal restaurant prices even though it's in a hotel.
Service was perfection!
We arrived at 1:45pm for our reservation only to be told that we only had 15 minutes until the end of brunch so we decided not to eat here. This needs to be made clear on the website or even during confirmation calls.
Great for Brunch. Great view. Clean and safe seating
Amazing view, great food, great service. Will be back.
It was a birthday dinner and great experience
The overall experience was amazing. The food was delicious, our server was so nice and helpful, and the view was to die for! There was only 1 negative to my experience. I was allowed to make a reservation for 1:45 but the kitchen closed at 2:00. Giving a customer only 15 minutes to get settled and review the menu to order seems like a rush. The staff was extremely friendly and never pushy but I think the restaurant should not accept reservations so close to the closing of the kitchen. I would definitely dine here again but I think another look at the reservation policy is needed.
One of Mt. Vernon's best! Every cocktail was delicious -- stunning views.
Get there ASAP
Anna the bartendress was great!!
Views are OUTSTANDING. Food menu is very limited (literally only 6 options) but good. French fries were delicious. Craft cocktails are strong and tasty. Worth it for the views alone.
I wished there were some appetizer or snacks. But the service and the atmosphere were amazing. Thank you so much for a great night.
The Peacemakers and the roasted chicken. Thank me later.
Spectacular food, service, and view!
Food was amazing!!! First time there and I must the Covid pre measure was def in place and I will be back for dinner. Brunch was def good as well!
Great ’70s music
Beautiful view but the inside of the restaurant could use a renovation. It’s like a cafeteria, when the view is romantic and lends to more intimacy.
Food was good. Short rib could have been seasoned better for such a large portion of meat. Shrimp small plate was delicious.
The place was nice but underwhelming. There was very little signage to help you find the restaurant. The food was lacking in flavor and was overpriced. I had the crab pasta and there was very little crab in it. The burger my friend got was honestly better than the crab pasta. It was $17 tho so it should have been good!
This place has so much potential, but the food is overpriced and extremely bland. Something needs to be done with the menu and who is coming up with the preparations of all the plates. I have lived in Baltimore for 2 years and have given this place 3 tries with their food. I will only go for drinks from now on until the chef is changed.
This was our first meal out during COVID that was indoors. I trusted that Topside would do this well and chose a date/time where I thought it would be best case scenario. I had told the staff that it was our anniversary and I did not expect that anything would come from that, but we were met with a great table with the view and complimentary champagne! Our server, Jade, was so careful and safe but also really easy to talk to and was really fun and knowledgeable. She helped us make our choices and the drinks and food were amazing. The curry shrimp appetizer was amazing and my crab pasta dish was easily, the best pasta dish I have had since being in Italy 6 years ago! SO GOOD. Topside continues to be at the top of our list of places to recommend to others but also when we want to treat ourselves. Thanks to the staff and to Jade, for making our anniversary great.
Very cute and cozy place to dine in during the pandemic! The restaurant obeys social distancing policies and the food was just amazing. Perfect for a date night or happy hour with girl friends!
It turned out that Topside was closed, which was disappointing. But we had drinks outside o the ground floor and enjoyed the experience greatly. We'll be back again to sample Topside when it is open.
The menu is a bit disappointing, not many selections. The portion was really small even for a lite appetite. The food was prepared well and was delicious. It was our first time there so we didn't know what to expect. It's a tough time for the industry so we need to cut them some slack. I'm sure we will try it again when the Covid restrictions are lifted and it's safe to dine inside.
Me and my colleagues were guests at the Revival Hotel and wanted a quick, light dinner before a big work day. While we were bummed about the understandable closing of the indoor restaurant, dining outside at Topside was a pleasant experience. We were right across from the beautiful park where someone was playing cello, and the weather was a nice, early autumn cool. The food was excellent! We shared a crab cake that was fresh and delicious, and the fish tacos were flavorful and fresh too. I'd def eat there again, hopefully indoors from their beautiful looking rooftop restaurant next time.
An amazing experience—the top floor is not open at the moment due to COVID-19 restrictions, so they set up outside in front of the hotel. The street doesn’t have a lot of traffic and there is an amazing street art piece on the ground where you sit—loved it! The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent!!! I tried the squid ink pasta, with a smoked gruyere sauce, I believe, truffle oil and lots of fresh crab meat. It was outstanding. Great craft cocktails, as well. Can’t wait to go back and try one of the other choices!
