The restaurant has an interesting history, as it first began back in 1983 when six businessmen and friends with no collective restaurant experience decided to start a restaurant together. Today the brand has expanded to over 420 locations thanks to its friendly wait staff and famous wings.Hooters menu is filled with classic American bar food, simply taken up a notch. There are sections for sandwiches, tacos, seafood, burgers and, of course, wings. Hooter's chicken wings are definitely its signature item, as they can be tossed in 20 different sauces. These sauces range from relatively mild options like parm garlic and lemon pepper to spicier options like the 911 and habañero. Wings can also be served either grilled or hand-dipped in Hooter's special breading.
