What's a Hooley? Hooley is Irish slang for a party or celebration, usually a home kitchen party.
The Hooley Pub & Kitchen (formerly the House Sports Pub & Grille) was founded in 2008 by John Reece and Ward Lawson, two thirty-year veterans in the food service industry with a passion for great tasty food and legendary service. Together, with the support of their families, they created a family friendly, party-like Irish-American sports bar. Supported by a pool of investors comprised of family and friends, they have expanded their privately owned, unique concept to five locations throughout the northeast Ohio area.

Had not been there in a while. Went Saturday evening dinner, drinks and college football...Service was fast. Ordered food and beer. Started watching the game. A few minutes later, a couple arrived with a small child 6 - 8 yrs). The child immediately started crying and complaining that the TVs were not setup to his liking. Unbelievably, the manager came out and turned the game off to appease the child and set the TVs up as he desired. Then the child didn't even watch the TV and started crying again...I asked the wait person why she did not ask others, the reply was "the kid was crying...what could we do?..." We will not go back here again.

Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly. We ate on the patio which was quieter than in the restaurant. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We were one of 2 tables with customers. Our waitress came to us when we were seated. The rest of our evening we had to go to her, at the bar talking, to get anything we needed. Horrible service! We will not return.

The food and the service were great. We had to request to be seated outside, though, because the music was so loud you couldn't even speak to the server without shouting.

Dining at Hooley with friends is the best! The food is always excellent...except the new onion rings, not all change is good, but I digress. The best part of Hooley ARE the servers, especially Kat, she is AWESOME!

We requested water 4 times before we got it. My daughter asked for honey mustard and never received it. We sat for at least a half hour before our waitress took our food order. The food was very good, no complaints there.

The overall night was a great experience. I’m not good with names, but our server was very personable. She was on the spot with everything and gave recommendations. We watched the superbowl but still had a low enough noise level to make vacation plans. The shepherds pie and Cuban sandwich were fantastic and the buffalo chicken dip was great too. I recommend this friendly place to everyone.
