Didn’t realize that they were still in soft opening phase. Food was delicious, poke stack, crab cakes and the best lobster roll we have ever had. I suggest the sauce on the side because the lobster was that delicious. We will become regulars!!!!

Great food. Fantastic Halibut and Cioppino. Our entire party enjoyed dinner there. It’s wonderful to have another tasty new restaurant nearby.

Our first time to Hook and Anchor and it is definitely on our return list. Went for Happy Hour and the food, vibes and service was phenomenal. Do not hesitate to try.

Excellent all around. The food was perfect and the entrees were a generous serving size. Service was excellent - Renny (spelling?) was entertaining, informed, and attentive. Recommend and will be back!

This place is still in its infancy in Dana point but I have to say food is below par . Ordered clam chowder - came with a skin in the top and cold so had to send back to reheat . Asked for my burger cooked through and a side salad . Burger was rare to medium when it came and had to be sent back and the salad was literally a handful of dry leaves and a few cut tomatoes in a bowl. No effort whatsoever. The fries that came with the lobster roll were few and just like a frozen bag from Ralph’s Having said all that the rolls did look good and my daughter enjoyed hers.

Our experience was outstanding! Food was delicious and the service A+ We had the fish and chips light and crispy and not greasy. Also the seafood risotto was the best I’ve had! Overall experience was great we will definitely be going back.

Great atmosphere and food! Love the shrimp pasta dish and the lobster roll is filled with lots of lobster, a great value! My only complaint is the size of the wine pour. It’s way too small for what they are charging. Will be worth it to them if they give a 6 oz pour instead of 5.
