Honu never disappoints, and neither do the views. Excellent service that’s attentive, but also laid back so you don’t feel rushed. Food was delicious, creative and delivered, as always. Our party of 6 raved about every single plate, especially the soft-shell crab appetizer, the fish and chips, cioppino, and nightly fish special (monchong). Perfect spot for dinner on the water, whether you’re celebrating a special event or just want to make an ordinary dinner special.

Wow! An amazing place. Time stops. You are emerged in the moment. The food is incredible, the service impeccable and the Somelier Pam is knowledgeable and so kind. A must for dinner in Maui. Right up there with Mama’s Fish House but better pricing.

We had the best dining experience while we were on Maui. This is by far the best restaurant we went to. The service was superb the food was excellent and the views were second to none. We even enjoyed the rare experience of watching rays while we dining.

It is wonderful they have reopened and are back to full swing since the fire and now seem even better if that is possible? The cocktails and wine list remain tops for Maui. The appetizers varied and always a challenge to choose… always drawn to the grilled Spanish octopus after an oyster shooter. The daily fish special is our usual esp when it is Ming Chong like last night. Sad if you don’t save room for the best banana cream pie since it was invented versus the lilikoi brûlée The owner does a fabulous Monday instagram wine presentation and always offers the specials of the week. It’s the one restaurant we ALWAYS make a reservation at first when coming to Maui 2-3 times each year for past 3 decades
