This was our first time in Lexington and I found this on a list of vegetarian-friendly restaurant options. The vegetarians and non-vegetarians in our party were well satisfied with the options and quality of food. Our server was very friendly and accommodating and we had a wonderful dinner. Special shout out for the amazing desserts!

Cannot talk more highly about our meal at Honeywood! The food was thoughtful, fresh and flavorful. The server Corey was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and attentive. He was an ambassador for the restaurant without being pushy. Such a personable guy! We had the board and split chicken salad sandwiches. Each element of the board was amazing. Pimento cheese, warm olives, all of it really! Sandwiches were large in portion (enough to split) and came with delicious fries. Go here!!!

Our server,Leah, was great. Steaks were ordered medium rare but came out well done. (Leah told the manager and had the steaks covered). On the side was undressed arugula with rare shallots. Appetizers were good and outdoor seating was enjoyable with Astro turf, flowering plants, and comfortable seating.

Enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Hubs like his pork chop. The sweet potato beignets were fantastic as always. Should have stopped there. Got the peanut butter pie which was just meh. The coffee was pretty weak but then again who needs a strong cup of coffee at 9pm if you’re my age. Overall, a very nice meal.

Cute place and a great server! We ordered the deviled egg app which was delicious so we were excited for our meals. At our table, we ordered the catfish dinner, shrimp and grits and the four o’clock snack platter. The snack platter was tasty (the pickles were not our cup of tea though). The two who ordered the catfish and shrimp & grits were not impressed with their meal saying that the flavor was really off. If we go back, we would try different dishes for sure!

We went there so that I could have the short ribs on the menu. However, it was extremely disappointing, and that that with they were so tough, they could not be cut or eaten. The grits that went with a short ribs were also very, very bland with no seasoning, come by and I ordered the Smashburger to replace the ribs. The manager was very prompt and attentive. Once he knew there was a problem. It was just a very disappointing situation with the short ribs

Was not busy at noon. Surprising, because the food was good and the service was excellent. Had a table for five. Comfortable for all. Will go again.
