    Service was wonderful as per usual. Noise level was decent until we were close to finishing and it got pretty noisy, as more families came for lunch. The chicken was not flavorful and tasted greasy, the first batch of the biscuits were dry and hard (2nd batch was much better as it came straight from the oven), and the mashed potatoes tasted as though there was too much cream and butter added to it. This is the 2nd time the food hasn't been great and disappointed, as it was for my dad's father's day celebration.

    I was extremely disappointed in our visit. I had always heard amazing things about the fried chicken and was really looking forward to bringing my dad for Father's Day. While the chicken was in fact fantastic, the service was HORRIBLE. Our server seemed like she was super annoyed to be there, did not have patience with our menu questions, and was down right rude with some of the things she said. For the price that it cost, we could have gone to Anthony's or another fine dining restaurant. Had our server been more attentive and kind, I could have stomached the high bill, but her attitude put me over the edge. Really disappointing experience.

    We had a large group and our server was great with so many of us. She matched our orders to her color coded pens and was simply delightful - bringing more food when we requested and moving us along so we could get out for the big game!

    What a wonderful dining experience! Food was hot and fresh. Service was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday birthday dinner at Hollyhock. This is an old-school restaurant that could definitely teach some new establishments how to treat customers.

    Their formerly  perfect chicken was dry. I appreciated the fact that I could get ranch for my salad. The side dishes were very good. Our waiter was very helpful.
