We enjoyed the food and ambiance, beer was great also
The food is amazing, the service was a little slow but very polite. The menu is a little pricey but the portions are very large. If you’re a leftover person you’ll definitely be happy.
This was our second trip and both times we were extremely satisfied, we live 45 minutes from their location but it’s worth the drive.
Good food and beer
Quiet during COVID
Made a reservation for the patio. We were seated within about 10 min after arriving. Well spaced tables, very clean area outside. Corn hole games set up. It was great. Our waitress was very good. Food yummy! Can’t wait to go back when the full menu is available
Always enjoy coming to the HB Haus. This time, the experience was not as enjoyable simply due to the COVID measures. To be blunt, it was too COLD & WINDY outside to fully enjoy the always great food & beer. I realize you are making do the best you can, but come November, it will be unbearable UNLESS you can get some decent outdoor heating units.
With the enormous indoor footprint you have there you can seat people safely 12, 18, 24 feet away from each other. I just don't get it. I look forward to coming in late November to celebrate my birthday, but if you are still seating solely outdoors and do not have adequate heating, I will likely have to postpone my plans.
Otherwise... again, I LOVE the food & beer. Always have enjoyed good service from the staff too.
2 other suggestions...
1) Perhaps you might consider offering curry ketchup as a condiment choice. Having lived in Germany in the past, I really enjoyed curry ketchup on my french fries (pommes frites). I notice you offer it for sale in the gift shop, but you really ought to consider making it available to diners at the table, perhaps offering it as an option upon ordering.
2) I enjoy the live entertainment there. One thing I like to do is learn to sing along with the songs in German (a big part of the fun). For those of us who like to get deeper into the experience, I suggest printing up some lyric sheets so some of the more popular tunes (The Hofbrauhaus song, Das Fliegerlied, Du bist mir im herzen, etc.) so others can sing along.
That's all I have for you now. Hope to visit again in November!
Only had outdoor dining, if they didn’t offer any indoor dining they should inform people who make reservations. It was freezing and we had no jackets so we had to leave
Very good food and service!!! I would definitely recommend for a nice night out for music and drinks
Food selection poor. Poor service. Very cold with no heat in tents.
We had a great time dining outside. The staff was friendly and attentive. We are a family of 7 so they split us into 2 tables and were very accomodating. Great food!
We never got seated. We made it for our reservation time and were told it would be a long wait.
Perfect day for outside seating. Masks worn by employees. Our server was excellent.
Really good time. Was hoping for some live music but other then that it was a great evening.
We had a great time, as always. The live band was great and the food was excellent. It was very busy and the host/hostess dealt with some very frustrated customers, but they handled it extremely well.
We purchased the tier platter and everything was cold when came to our table. Very disappointed in the food. Atmosphere was awesome and the beer was great however the food was not.
Sat on the patio, great weather, great service, great food.
Food was phenomenal as always. Social distancing was practiced and face coverings. It’s unfortunate that due to Covid the menu had to be reduced so our favorites weren’t available at the time. Outside seating is fine but the chairs could be updated to be made more comfortable. Overall great place.
Beer was good except Octoberfest was not available (not sure why a display of Octoberfest bottles was set up near the host stand)
Food was poor.
Menu is fairly limited. First Bratwurst arrived still cold (like refrigerated cold) with grill marks tho.
Sweinbraten was very fatty and covered with a thick jellied “brown sauce. The potato balls looked like Thanksgiving dressing that was formed into baseball sized balls. They were very dry and difficult to break apart with a fork.
Sausage platter consisted of a Bratwurst ( this one was warmed), a Chicken sausage and 2 frankfurters (hot dogs). Really, all the great German sausages and you serve “hot dogs” for $17.
Really disappointed, I’ve eaten at the Munich Hofbrauhaus and the food was fabulous.
A little break from these crazy times sitting in an authentic German biergarten. Service was great, as was the food, beer and ambience....
Overall good experience even though required to sit outdoors due to COVID. Very small crowd for a Friday but sure it was also result of the pandemic and also labor day weekend.
We had a great evening. The food and drink were also great. Highly recommend coming here.
Excellent beer and food. My favorites are the Jägerschnitzel with Märzenbier.
Best burgers in the Metro East. Of course the beer is authentic German. We sat in the beer garden and had a great time. Worth the drive to support this business.....
Consistently good and tasty food, excellent service I will definitely come back here
Great. I will be back.
Nice beer garden and great burgers.
The staff was extremely friendly. Food was excellent. Proportions are very generous!
Believe it or not, some of the best burgers around! And the beer is real German.
We set outside. No live music because of COVID-19 requirements, but German music was playing on the speakers and it was very festive.
Love the outside seating.
Delicious food, good drinks.
We did wait a while for food delivery, but enjoyed the visit with friends at our table.
Food was to die for. Waitress was fast and friendly. Totally wonderful eating experience. Highly recommend it.
Amazing service and burger
The burgers are top notch. And the beer is authentic German!
Dining room is huge lots of echos..
A little creepy with the social distancing of 4 empty tables between parties, but we were able to be louder than usual and not disturb anyone.
This is awesome authentic German food and atomosphere. Truly had a fantastic time.
Very good food and beer. Very nice dining experience
Tried calling to make sure they were serving. No answer, figured they were busy. Made an online reservation through Open Table. Drove 22 miles to the restaurant to find it locked up tight. No sign on the door. No mention on the website that it was closed. Very disappointing. Is it really that hard to communicate???
Food needs improvement. Everyone at our table was disapppinted. Beer and atmosphere are great.
Amazing place with great beer and live music. Just wish it was in a better location that was easier to get to.
Decent food with lots of choices. Not crowded when we were there for brunch, however, the noise level must be very high when the place is full. Parking is odd - we walked all the way around the building to find the front door! Better signage would help.
