   Truly amazing food paired nicely. Service was spot on with nice description of the courses and attention to drinks. My only negative was it was too bright in the restaurant. Dimming the lights would be a nice touch.

   I really wanted to like this place. Love multi course meals and the reviews I read were encouraging. Unfortunately the December menu was just not good. It’s very brightly lit, the courses were not well paced even though there’s only one menu option and you have to have a reservation, and the food was bland and in some cases texturally offensive. Maybe just a poor menu month because the November patrons seemed to love it.

   7pm reservation for 2. Seated immediately. Excellent service. Knowledgeable staff. Wonderful kaiseki. Very excited to have such cuisine in Indianapolis. Will return.

   Hinata was an amazing experience. Well thought out seven course dinner, perfectly timed, and exquisitely presented. The staff were beyond professional and incredibly knowledgeable about every dish and drink pairing. Highly recommend this fine dinning establishment.

   If you are looking to treat yourself with a truly special meal, then go to Hinata. I’ve been here twice and both times it was a unique and delicious experience. That’s what Hinata is, a true experience. The set menu changes monthly. The food is absolutely divine. The sommelier matched the most perfect wine and sake to have alongside each course. We can’t wait to go to Hinata again soon.

    My husband and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary here last night. The service, cuisine, and overall experience that Hinata provides is truly memorable. We could taste and feel the care and dedication to quality every moment we were there. Highly recommended to everyone who is lucky enough to cross paths with this establishment.

    We had a tremendous dinner experience at Hinata. The service was impeccable. We were informed about each dish and associated wine pairings. We were not rushed and allowed to enjoy our entire meal. The food was very fresh and well prepared. We will feeding items return to Hinata!

    I went with my mom who has lived in Japan, New York City and California and she said this restaurant was just as good as a nice restaurant in Japan and can’t wait to go back again.

    What a wonderful surprise to find Hinata.our meal was exceptional—each course delightful. Wine pairings were icing on the cake. Service and knowledge of the sommelier made this an over the top experience. It’s pricey and worth it.

    The experience was incredible! The service was amazing only to be topped by the food! The whole menu was masterfully prepared and presented. We also got the wine/saki pairing and it was well thought out and the perfect sips for the meal. We will most definitely return!

    It was a nice experience. Servers were attentive, they were on top of things—clearing our plates when we were finished, refilled our water. Each food came out within minutes. There wasn’t a huge wait timing in between dishes. Appetizers were served within minutes after drink orders were taken. Dishes were presented like works of art. Food was delicious. I like how they left the menu on the table so patrons will know what food is coming up next.

    Restaurant was very clean. You are met at the door by the host and seated immediately. The host suggests drinks or you can pick from a variety of wins. Dinner service starts within 5 minutes of sitting down. Al servers explain each portion brought out to the table, is a wonderful restaurant experience.

    We were really looking forward to our first meal there and it definitely did not disappoint. The service was outstanding, the food was so fresh and the presentation of the food was also great. We had the 8 course meal and the time between courses was well timed. Highly recommend it and we look forward to coming back soon.
