Hill Top Winery

We just bought a home not very far from here. After driving past it a bunch of times we finally decided to stop and check it out. We were really pleasantly surprised not only with the food and the wine but the ambience and view from their outdoor area. We will certainly be returning since it’s only 15 minutes from our new home. If you were on your way out to the casinos, Valley Center or Pauma Valley, You should plan to stop here.

Great spot and only 10 minutes from Harrahs! I love their wine tasting vertical flights, when eating with a large party it saves a lot of table space. Food was delicious, but I bit pricey. Recommend the red wine tasting, loved all of them! Beautiful view 🍷

Love this winery! Staff are friendly & make you feel so welcome. Limited menu, but food is excellent. Try the flatbread, you"ll love it!

This place is a hidden gem; everything about Hill Top Winery is top notch. From the charcuterie plate to the flatbreads, salads and of course the wine. And, to make this beautiful meeting place as perfect as perfect can be, the people who work and run Hill Top Winery are friendly, courteous, helpful and genuine in their passion for what they do and who they serve.
This was my second visit, and I plan to go back again and again. I honestly love this place.

We were in town visiting Harrahs Resort and wanted to get away from the noise. The Hilltop Winery is minutes down the road. The Winery is absolutely beautiful. The wines were great and the food was great. Service was outstanding. We highly recommend The Hilltop Winery for a visit!

Before I made the reservation I checked the food menu and it showers tons of verities just like any normal restaurant , I drove an hour each way and once we got seated they provided us with the menu and there is only 5 choices and 3 of them were out , so I told the server that the menu on line is totally different and it showed tons of verities , she said She thinks that they have wrong menu on line and apologized , I didn’t say anything and we left, , what bothered me that I had my 75 years old mother with me to have dinner together and I drove her 2 hours back and forth for nothing because they have wrong menu online .. should mention the servers were nice , toilet dirty, no straws when serving water and I think due to covid -19 they should hand the straws out without asking for it. Very disappointing.

Great place to go have a glass of wine, or two, or three! Food, service were very good. I like the fact we can bring our 2 Greyhounds who are very laid back and quiet, however we did not appreciate the little ‘yappers ’ who were not controlled by their owners! Otherwise the ambiance was very good.

I love this place. It has a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards. It is nice to have pleasant service and good food and wine.

Great Service, Great Atmosphere, Beautiful Wine, Great Food Presentation, Food Was Very Yummy and Fresh. The Chef came to our table with our food and explained what we were eating and was over the top pleasant as well as our server... We will definately come back and dine again.

A lovely location overlooking the vineyards in Valley Center - pleasant surroundings and helpful and good staff. As they were operating with a food truck it was a bit disappointing not to have all the items available. What was service was quite good. My advise inquire in advance if they will have what you want to order and perhaps reserve it.
they have made every effort to ensure a pleasant experience. They are to be commended for this.

The location is beautiful, the ambiance is perfect and the food was amazing. It’s worth traveling for.

Sebastian was great. He always remembers who we are when we come in and also remembers our favorite wine and food order! Couldn’t ask for better service. Also, there’s a great view of the vineyard no matter where you’re sitting on the patio. Overall a great winery and one of our favorite spots.

A beautiful winery, with an innovative menu and fantastic food. The Muscat was excellent! The prices are surprisingly reasonable and the view from the patio is just gorgeous.

Sebastian was our host. He’s awesome and very knowledgeable about wines.
